Brewer Akathon
You are welcome to the cauldron.{^n}{^n}Just don't make anything too...volatile.
What can I use in the cauldron?
There are many techniques to brewing potions, many lost to the ages.{^n}{^n}Potion brewing is immensely versatile and limited only by your desire to experiment. Remember: even the vial itself can alter the final result.
Good to know.
Thanks.
I'll try not to.
No time, no time. This brew is highly sensitive.{^n}{^n}A moment too long on the flame and the entire cauldron will be spoiled.
I'll leave you to it.
A pungent smell is upon the air.{^n}{^n}You found the resin. Didn't you?
Here is everything you needed.
Yes, this is everything.{^n}{^n}It will be no time at all before the cauldron is ready for a new concoction.
I'm eager to get started.
I'll be right back.
Curious seeing you here, because the ingredients we need are out there.
Where would I find Ugdenbloom?
Ugdenbloom is native to the bog and grows bountifully among the rotting stumps and golems that inhabit it.{^n}{^n}It should be no trouble at all to find the 3 I need.
And what about the resin?
Thanks.
Where would I find Sylvarrian Resin?
Sylvarria's roots grow deep. The vine is nigh immortal, but its core blossoms in a cave somewhere in central Ugdenbog.{^n}{^n}Its presence is ever shifting, so do not rely on old records for the exact location.
And what of Ugdenbloom?
Thanks.
I'm still working on it.
Hello, friend of the coven. You strike me as one that has gained an appreciation or two for a well-timed tincture.{^n}{^n}Take this wondrous cauldron, for example. It has the potential to make sorcerers quake and turn kings to blabbering fools. All it takes is the correct mix and ratios of the right ingredients. Even the flask itself can be used to alter the properties of the final concoction.
Could I make use of it?
You? Well, sure, I suppose I don't see why not.{^n}{^n}Just one thing before we can get started, and perhaps you can help me with it.{^n}{^n}A little quid pro quo, eh?
What do you need?
This cauldron has seen much use and its properties have eroded over the years. I need to reapply its coating, and for that I need to make a salve.{^n}{^n}The recipe is simple. The materials...perhaps not so much. Firstly, I will need some Ugdenbloom. That you can find growing anywhere in the swamp. But the resin I require will be more difficult to procure.{^n}{^n}Are you familiar with Sylvarria? The rampaging growth has spread its roots across Ugdenbog. Some say it can no longer be killed, merely pruned. To acquire Sylvarrian Resin, you will need to find the cave in central Ugdenbog within which sprouts the core of the creature.{^n}{^n}I do not require much, just a few drops. But for that, you will have to contend with the monstrous vine itself.
I will get what you need.
Sorry, sounds too dangerous.
Are these it?

Not right now.
Fascinating.
No time, no time. This brew is highly sensitive.{^n}{^n}A moment too long on the flame and the entire cauldron will be spoiled.
Could I make use of this cauldron?
You? Bah!{^n}{^n}I don't think you would know the first thing about it. Come back once you've learned some appreciation for the art of alchemy.
Alright.
I'll leave you to it.
