This icon has been present in a single location since the start of my game and has not disappeared after 65 years despite the boars having shuffled off this mortal coil many moons ago. Hovering over the icon doesn’t show any highlighted boars (as expected, because I ate them).
I can confirm. With the difference, that every once in a while a boar does spawn there, out of nowhere, and attacks my villagers - almost in the town center, with no access from outside.
I have the same thing but haven’t noticed one spawning there, though I do have towers nearby that likely take it out.
Boar spawners are like roaches right now, notoriously difficult to displace. Building buildings over the spawner will cause it to move.

0.7.6 here … can’t really place buildings on my grazing area.
Boars keep spawning once in a while inside the fenced area.
Tower helps, but herders retreat, waste time, etc …
