I just loaded up the game for the first time since the new update (0.9.7) and decided to load an in-progress village. Big mistake apparently, but when I loaded in initially, I had around 270-280 pops in the village and shelter capacity of a little over 400. The first 10-20 minutes was fine, and I was building more food sources since the food requirements are now super high comparatively. Suddenly, 5 or 6 of the kids died of exposure, kinda a lot at once but sure, whatever. I checked my people and their supplies, clothes, happiness etc. the only things not 100% were Entertainment and Food.
Suddenly, another 2 or 3 people died of exposure and I thought again, weird, but not crazy. I cleared a bandit camp, collected the fallen, built some more fishermen huts, and the year changed. Then, for seemingly no reason, despite haven just built another firewood splitter, my clothing, fur coat, and shoe stockpiles being more than sufficient, and everyone having shelters theyre set to, including several temporary shelters placed throughout just in case, people dropped like flies.
I had 77 laborers and 46 builders when I loaded in, and all my available jobs were filled. When I saved and quit about 20 minutes ago, I had 3 laborers and 24 builders, and several jobs not filled (after immigrant influxes of around 20-30 more pops). All in all I lost nearly 100 people, every single one due to exposure, every one that i checked had clothes and shoes and food and a home, yet didnt go home when their heat got low, didnt stop by a pub or a temp house, nothing.
Honestly ridiculous, and im gonna have to likely abandon that save and make a new village unless this what seems to be a bug gets fixed.
