If I defeat all raiders (no destroyed buildings, no items stolen, no killed villagers), I get the notification that my village was “robbed” instead of “Major Defeat”.

They know. I don’t use a Stables very often (PITA to build one in case a merchant selling horses happens to appear), so I usually kill only 95% without losing anything and have only gotten “Robbed”.
