Unfortunately i donāt have much time to play currently, but sometimes i do look at devotion skills at work. Wondering if there is a good alternate due recent changes.

But perhaps dropping Oleron constellation and using points elsewhere. Like the ones that give % Attack speed, % OA(with or without Mace constellation).

Drizzt i have all items from your build (without rare ring and pants), the same components and essences, the same devotion and my dps is around 28k and yours 55k. And i really dont know why is that.

shield training only max now or even just 1 point, because it doesnt offer flat dmg now?!

Shield training is great defensively, damage was negligible anyway.
Damn, they nerfed Haunted Steel, now it has 10% conversion, and is useless therefore.
And the most important - Targoās Hammer proc nerfed into oblivion (actually, literally ALL constellations with %weapon damage procs are nerfed into oblivion).
Now my Markovian Witchblade cant farm Gladiator crucible well, cause his damage decreased very significantly (and with damage, tankiness decreased as well - you need to kill enemies fast to survive).

I wonder how Abominable Might evaded nerfs so longā¦ Why procs with weapon damage should be so damn weak, and this beast still may double your weapon damage for average gear (and even with BiS, multiply damage by 1.5)ā¦
Most under rated devo avoid nerf since a long time because it never was associated with āmetaā tier1 build, Abominable Might is one of them.
Seeing as this is the strongest cadence thread, figured Iād ask my questions here for my battlemage.
I currently have points in Markovianās and Zolhans but thinking of dumping both for more blitz/blindside. Better DA shred, more reliable, possibly even more damage.
Question is, did I go too defensive on my devotions? Character is hitting 85 soon, so Iāll be adjusting him for Crucible/ Nemesis farming anyway.
Using Markovian set while I farm up the rest of Warborne, think Iām missing 1 or 2 pieces.
What do you have your (offensive) devotions bound to?
I would imagine itās Assassinās Mark on Cadence. Do you have Blind Fury on Blitz, or Zolhanās Technique?
You get quite a lot of bonus points to MA and ZT from Markovian set, so putting 1 point into each is OK. Putting more is a waste of points, indeed.
As for devotions, it depends on your gear. Warborn isnt as good defensively as Markovianā¦
As it stands, with all the damage nerfs and the big nerf to the proc Warborn has better chances in crucible. Bigger faster damage so more lifesteal and that 20% phys resistance from sigebreaker is pretty solid too. It pains me to say this because i like markovian very much but there you go.
Yes, the recent nerf to Markovianās proc was completely injustified, in my opinion. Full set bonus isnt appealing anymore, so you indeed can get Siedgebreaker or rare shield with high phys resist roll, and enjoy far higher tankinessā¦
This breaks my heart, a certain fucker refuses to drop his shield and keeps dropping his stupid mace :mad:
Agreed on Markovian Set being completely useless now, might want to reduce it from Legendary to Epic status :rolleyes:
I dont think itās useless, it still has decent stats, but itās far from best, and there are many āaverageā legendaries in GD alreadyā¦
I can get those stats elsewhere, problem is the complete set bonus isnāt lucrative enough.
True there are many average legendaries and it just became one of them imo. Right now it serves as an inter-mediate set and will eventually be replaced by Warborn in whatever build it is currently being used

Iām noob and still leveling char for this, but i was thinking, now with Haunted Steel nerf,
wouldnāt it be better to go for Oleronās Blood for dmg boost and enemy dmg debuf, and replace Bloodthirster skill with Ghoulish hunger (+ Ghoul devotion -Chariot of the dead)
Tried and testedā¦ I mean itās ok for vanilla (not so much against shar zul or mad queen really) but in crucible you will just die.
The enemy damage debuff from oleron blood is redundant becuse it doesnāt stack with War cry debuff
