[1.0.0.4] Cadence Witchblade - 100% unkillable, 100% faceroll build

I’d like to know the same thing. I’m used to your old guides where you (jajaja) generally recommend putting 100% into physique for most every build it appears.

Awesome Build.

For builds like this, you can just put 100% attribute points into physique. Alternatively, if you want a bit higher dmg at the cost of a bit HP, then start investing into Cunning as long as you reach 970 physique (without items).

Well, my first hardcore character is still alive and kicking following this build. Just hit level 50 and killed Veteran Log. I dropped Turtle Shell along the way, and am steering towards a variation of the non-pierce devotions. On paper right now it looks like Oklaine’s Lantern is a decent grab.

I’m going to be giving Bastion of Chaos and Steps of Torment a shot now, though, so hopefully I survive to move on to Elite.

Lantern requires dagger, scepter or offhand

Oh, dang. Thanks for pointing that out. I guess that’s the pitfall of theorycrafting on Grimcalc.

1 stepp of Crucible is down - just selfbuffs + lb healpotions
thy Jajaja for nice build, i hope u come back

Is double rare crafted mace/sword better than agony/claw?

You should put points into spirit only if you need it to equip jewelry at the end. This would be at most 10 points.

I went 1:1 phys:cun from the beginning. It’s a trade-off of DA/health vs. OA/damage. It doesn’t actually matter.

No.

In the current patch agony >> claw. If you go with the crafted weapon you will have more damage but 1 fewer +soldier. It depends on what you like best. I can do everything I want in my skill tree with the extra skills so I prefer that.

With patch being out now does someone have an updated grimcalc and devotions I can look at. I am very new to this game and am really enjoying it and want to make sure I’m doing this correctly.

Could you please post the build without the + skills? In addition, wouldn’t it be nice to put one point into Markovian’s Advantage?

MA is almost useless for this build - Blitz provides DA reduction.

Grimcalc is still the same, the patch changed nothing. I posted a screenshot of my devotion setup 1 or 2 pages ago. I use a pretty good Bonescyte and have no need for the +piercing stuff. Now I can use both Targos Hammer and Falcon Swoop and have another healing option with Wayward Soul.

My highest crit is now 168k and I can’t die - unless I meet Fabius with the Notched Bone of a Thousend Deads (“No Damage, no Damage, no Damage, Dead”). Many thanks to jajaja for this build and all the other builds he contributed.

holy shit
is that nice roll ? waht a afix & prefix are the best ?

Although that rare axe has 2 rare mods, they arent exactly what you need for physical build - cause they provide bossts to bleed damage. I’d rather looked for “special” rare mods, such as “Tyrant’s” (reduces enemy damage), “Plaguebearer’s” (reduces resistances) or “of Abyss” (reduces both %resistance AND enemy damage). I bet, the latter with some decent rare prefix will make BiS weapon. However, all those rare mods are extremely rare even on themselves (not to mention being paired with another rare mod).

It’s probably just better to go for Agony unless you can find a really good MI. I agree with Mortalkombat on the MI mods, Tyrant’s with Alacrity will probably beat out anything else.

Agony is not too slow for this Build ?

Probably a bit slow but jajaja’s major contention was that it had 25% pierce weapon compared to Agony’s 10% pierce. You can tweak items and devotions to make it easier i.e more attack speed.

Even so why does Agony have so much % increases for Acid when there isn’t even a viable Acid DW damage build. Makes no sense for me. Rather have fire conversions for Saboteurs or lightning conversions for Warders.

Agony also has 15% conversion to acid, and that’s huge damage loss too.
