1.0.0.6 items just fill-ins and a little to plain?

Am I the only one who thinks, that the new 1.0.06. items we have seen
so far look a little bit like fill-ins and are a little plain too?
Of course I havent seen them all, and I am open for suprises, but I was hoping for some stats, that allow new combinations, new possibilties.

What do you think?

regards Arkon

all are kinda meh
they didnt remove shitty physical to X conversion on weapon so we still can’t use them (phys dmg being the most OP in endgame due to armor mechanics)

only the new amulet with +1 to demo & Arcanist seem decent

the justicar nerf was huge
liking the new added resists on stuff though

And you still can’t bring a caster to gladiator crucible…

I don’t read guides all that often, but the first thing I saw the other day browsing the forums was a sorcerer soloing gladiator with 7k health no sweat. Maybe you are doing it wrong?

Source?

Yeah i wonder the same, since every mob has indirect psych resist due to armor but not to all damage types since they require direct resist stat…

Armor reduce by a flat amount like -1250 while other kinds are % based. So if u do a 200k crit u will do 198750 to mob with armor mechanics while other types of dmg are majorly screwed in comparison

I checked out the sets via the GDsidekick project. They seem fine to me, filling out some gaps in the earlier legendary itemization. You can do Chaos aether ray even better now which looks pretty badass.
So I’m looking forward to doing that. Fortunate that I leveled a doom bolt/devastation warlock with clairvoyant, but now they balanced Time dilution I can use him for something more fun

What else did they add? cadence specific set, witchhunter (melee), phan. blades, Callidor’s + 2 sets I can’t remember from the top of my head. Nice little patch to boost underused skills.

Keep in mind they are making an expansion which will probably include alot of new options and items

The Devs have stated that the new sets are fill-ins for gaps that remained. Wether they are plain or not is up to each individual person. The Warborn for example set does a Cr@p ton of phys damage and does it fast unlike Markovian.

And they do allow new combinations:). But in the end they are as they were indended, fillers. For a single patch it’s not bad at all. There is also a new rogue dungeon and an expansion with probably lots of new legendaries, MI’s epics etc and one or two new classes to add a multitude of new combinations with both existing and old items. It’s all good:D
