[1.0.0.7] DEE/Sigil Conjurer - Unkilable Vitality/Acid/Poison caster

JoV a big thank you !
I wanted to play a caster for a long time but was afraid of survivability

I am new to the game, only have a saboteur level 75 but struggling a lot with it in ultimate (cause I have to work a lot on my resistances but not enough gear or blueprint to craft the good stuff yet) and I want a character to be able to farm. I was building a retaliation warder to be invincible and chain farm fabius and maybe try Ultimate (Thx Squib) but it’s definitely not fun to play (looking to switch to hybrid retaliation, Superfluff I count on you ^^).

I will definitely level in paralel that caster to have some more FUN farming !
The build seems really interesting ! I can’t wait !

OK. Leveling two different DEE toons at same time - WH and WB and having a “classic” Vit Conj. makes me wonder about this things:

  1. Two spammable skills at once? DEE and Swarm? We need high casting speed for this to work? What about energy - Occultist have problems with it, no?
  2. How are we supposed to level this one? With swarm? Because waiting for DEE to get Eruption is painful.
  3. Early-mid game survival? Full Vit. Conj is almost unkillable until late game but this one clearly weaker until proper gear and constellations. almost no CoF, no Vines, etc.

Or i’m missing something?

For leveling, go primal strike classic build with 2H and change at lvl 75

Thanks for detailed guide It helps me to tweak my character.

Low dmg hits: Armor > dmg absorption
High dmg hits: Armor <<< dmg absorption

And you shouldn’t worry to much about low dmg hits, not to mention that armor protects just from phys hits.

With equipped judis signets and HR proc this build has almost 1.5k hp per sec regen do you really think that it needs more?
You would get pierce resistance but lose chaos resistance, and pierce is much easier to find.

Got to lvl 60 gladiator easily w/o buffs and banners, didn’t died, but was to lazy to go for more. I dont like crucible to much.

Thx

I have to tell you this: If you want perfect caster farmer with low equipment requirements go for poison dot DEE WH. You will need to run/kite a lot but you can farm all game content with ease. This build is much tankyer but it has higher gear requirements to do so.

Red text

Glad it helps you

Yeah good points. Agreed.

Thanks for the replies, hell i decided that i will try this. Might be good to revamp the generic Vit Conjurer i have.

You didn’t name it Solael’s Evil Eye :undecided:

Nice build

i managed to get Tree of Life, Dryad, Shield Wall, and Wendigo all into my devotions for my sigil tank conjurer, and he has become insanely amazing.

with 2 rings + pants proccing sigil all over the screen is awesome. i took some of the ideas here for devotion- now he’s got over 2k DA and 13.5k hp; and CoF + DS is insane for amping that vitality dmg.

this thread inspired me again for occultist melee oddly enough

Thx, was to late when you made proposal :undecided:

Glad it was inspiring

Dont get me wrong I just dont see the point of dryad or shield wall on conjurer :undecided:

Actually I do have melee DW Vitality conjurer for long now, its great, tankyest DW build by far

Any basic guide for devotion leveling?

I would level with DEE and acid/poison based devotions, personally (rat, manticore). Put a mark of dreeg on your weapon for the extra AoE shotgun attack.

Respec in vitality damage skills/devotions when you’re a higher level.

When you wrote ToM, did you mean ToL (Tree of Life)?

If yes, then it’s twice in this thread that you would have made that typo.

Pretty much this:

ToM = Tonic of mending

If you are referring on fabius hitting part than is ToM, I cant find second mentioned.
Probably there is more typing/spelling errors and I do apologize for any one of those

Are you guys nuts Sigil + Devouring Swarm levelling is the most OP levelling in the universe. Put Twin Fangs on Devouring Swarm and Wendigo on CoF. Thank me later.

You can go like that, but noting in GD can beat dot DEE+DIG combo for leveling up, especially if you put two marks of dreeg for 2xDIG. Just run and spam and everything dies

P.S. Dot DEE hit and run WH was my first farming build, farmed all game content with it (nemesis included) w/o single legendary item. There is no less gear dependent build capable of farming the game than that.

isn’t the straight up vitality caster conjurer better than a mixed damage oriented class? Because you’re able to reduce so much of enemies’ vitality resistances through your skills it’s ridiculous. If you pair it up with storm totem, it should net us better results, yes?

Also, speaking of vitality conjurer, do you have a link to an up to date build please?

I dunno man with my variant everything dies anyway except you will get healed constantly as well. Even single target damage is nuts this way.

Me too actually except I did a conjurer much like yours here with non-spam DEE. Freakin’ wrecked the game with bad gear. I can totally see how pure poison WH would do the same.

Had some really good Moose fights back then. Those were the days.

Actually no, for few reasons:

  1. Its damn hard if not impossible to make pure vitality caster, even if you use just sigil and DS you have some other dmg except vitality in it.

  2. If you use sigil+totem+DS and even if you do some melee hitting with it you will do much less dmg than by using DEE+sigil+DS.

  3. You clear much faster with DEE due to its nature of being aoe spell (fragments). Like I stated earlier I use sigil just when facing nemesis for slightly faster kill times.

Noting significant changed when classic vitality conjurer are concerned so Retaliators or Ceno builds are still more than viable.

I dont doubt it easily dies, just dot DEE+DIG is more potent combo, covers larger space and inflicts more dmg thus is faster for leveling.

Whit crappy gear managed to inflict 100k+ dots on nemesis, later even dropped ulty Mog with that build

Thanks, JoV.
