-Do you need the belt? Wouldn’t BB sash give you more OA?

-I suggested elemental storm cause it saves you the trouble of using spellblade since it doesn’t add much to the build besides the RR. Exalted dagger is much better.
Just put a point into either storm totem or blade-spirit or wind devil (just into the first node), their sole purpose is to proc the devotion.

I choose Guthook Belt for shaman skills, aiming for high savagery skills
Combine with Direwolf Crest, can make it 9 charge levels

Currently I don’t have Lightning Exalted dagger,
I use Master Spellblade for RR. Arcane bomb has it’s arming time and small target area
I use masterspellblade for testing, since I have tried dual Crystallum on my Lightning Warder

well no wind devil and ele storm doesnt stack since all same
reduced X enemy elemental resist or X enemy resist

i find wind devil pretty bad and unreliable…it jerks around so much and duration is short meanwhile ele storm covers area and procs reliable and more often for your demand… your call mate

good guide but needs some item and devotion tweaking, sadly no time to put more feedback…

It Depend on You (and the gear)

Bleeding Trickster with Bloodsong and Brutallax has very nice procs from weapons
Lightning Trickster is also good, nice AOE, also I like the Cool animations of the Thunder

Glad to see I’m not the only one playing this kind of a build

Mine is not as advanced as yours though, I don’t happen to own a single Crystallum, and Stormheart happened to be worse than Lightning Rod/Stormseeker Sabre/any good green. Plaguebearer is an interesting idea, but otherwise I had a similar gear setup in mind. My devotions are very different though, I have neither SotH nor Tree of Life, instead I have Wraith, Tempest and Dire Bear, would add Rhowan’s Crown as well when I get last 6 devotion points. Also I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want Belgothian’s Shears.

For Nightblade procs, I only takes 2 of them.
Execution is surely one
I prefer Amarasta’s Quick Cut to Belgothian’s Shears
AQC good for single target, I already have Reckless Tempest and Spear of the Heavens for AOE

I was updating mine over the weekend and went a slightly different route for devotions in order to work in Rhowan’s Crown and Behemoth. So here’s another devotion option to throw in the mix: Grimcalc

Arcane Bomb > Savagery
Elemental Storm > Execution
Reckless Tempest > Amarasta’s Quick Cut

Nice one, we have a lot of options for devotion setup

I also dislike the choice of Master’s Spellblade. You’re giving up a lot of base lightning damage. Dual Crystallums is the way to go IMHO unless you can find/craft daggers with godly affixes. Even then the stun resist is too compelling to give up.

BTW DW Lightning Tricksters are nothing new but they’ve been overshadowed by jajaja’s Sabo. And probably for good reason since Tricksters have no mastery skills with -% lightning resistance, e.g. mines. Though this is somewhat offset by the fact that very few genuses of monsters have high lightning resist. But also the FS line yields greater overall flat instant damage for DW than the Savagery line.

I just test this master spellblade since it craftable (Luckily I got Plaguebearer and of Fury one)
I compare the Plaguebearer’s Master’s Spellblade and Master’s Spellblade of Fury, Plaguebearer’s is better due to more rr
Since I already have high attack speed (197% with Plaguebearer’s one), I choose Plaguebearer’s instead of Fury one

In my DW Aether Witch Hunter, I choose Master’s Spellblade of Fury for it’s Attack Speed

In that case you can do Crystallum + Stormheart. Dual Crystallums will have too much attack speed.

Possible to show a step by step of your constellation route? I’m currently at 41 points but just can’t see how you got the Spear with only the ones shown, there must be one or two that were used as filler then removed, but i just can’t see it.

Why don’t you try it with Ultos’ Gem? You will get more conversion, much more oa, and chaos resist that can let you drop that component in a sword and use Amber instead for even more conversion.

Well, Attack Speed, High OA, Crit Damage can increased our damage significantly (There’s an old thread about this - I forgot where it is)
Also +1 to all skills can save more skills points to allocated elsewhere.

Higher DA means we’ll get less crit by Enemy, I mean Fabius Notched Bone

You should stack AS first, but don’t forget the OA to prevent missed hit

RR is important too for damage boosting, there’s also an old thread from Generalcash as far as I remember

You craft a lot of them and hope one comes with a “stonehide” prefix as it is quite rare.
