- You can also go straight dual wield with Nightblade Dual Blades line combine with Savagery line from Shaman. Pneumatic Burst, Veil of Shadow, Blade Barrier, Ring of Steel, and Blade Trap as defensive lines
- Shadow Strike for additional damage and mobility

Attach tempest to storm totem or wind devil and use elemental storm on LMB? Use Healing totem (whatever it’s called) to proc arcane bombs. And use an exalted dagger (lightning type) with good green rolls.

Is Wind Devil line, Elemental Storm, and Plaguebearer’s Master’s Spellblade resistant reduction stack?
If they stack, it would be nice

Guthook belt and other items link is from the tool, it looks like some links broken.
I have to edit manually link Mark of Divinity, the original link have one space before ‘M’

Maybe our friends that made the tool will fix it later

-Ah, i don’t use new stuff regardless of how good it is. That’s just me though.

-Do you need the belt? Wouldn’t BB sash give you more OA?

-You’re being greedy :p. They don’t stack.

-I suggested elemental storm cause it saves you the trouble of using spellblade since it doesn’t add much to the build besides the RR. Exalted dagger is much better.
Just put a point into either storm totem or blade-spirit or wind devil (just into the first node), their sole purpose is to proc the devotion.

well no wind devil and ele storm doesnt stack since all same
reduced X enemy elemental resist or X enemy resist

i find wind devil pretty bad and unreliable…it jerks around so much and duration is short meanwhile ele storm covers area and procs reliable and more often for your demand… your call mate

good guide but needs some item and devotion tweaking, sadly no time to put more feedback…

Glad to see I’m not the only one playing this kind of a build

Mine is not as advanced as yours though, I don’t happen to own a single Crystallum, and Stormheart happened to be worse than Lightning Rod/Stormseeker Sabre/any good green. Plaguebearer is an interesting idea, but otherwise I had a similar gear setup in mind. My devotions are very different though, I have neither SotH nor Tree of Life, instead I have Wraith, Tempest and Dire Bear, would add Rhowan’s Crown as well when I get last 6 devotion points. Also I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want Belgothian’s Shears.

Nice to see that Lightning Trickster is still popular

I was updating mine over the weekend and went a slightly different route for devotions in order to work in Rhowan’s Crown and Behemoth. So here’s another devotion option to throw in the mix: Grimcalc

Arcane Bomb > Savagery
Elemental Storm > Execution
Reckless Tempest > Amarasta’s Quick Cut

I also dislike the choice of Master’s Spellblade. You’re giving up a lot of base lightning damage. Dual Crystallums is the way to go IMHO unless you can find/craft daggers with godly affixes. Even then the stun resist is too compelling to give up.

BTW DW Lightning Tricksters are nothing new but they’ve been overshadowed by jajaja’s Sabo. And probably for good reason since Tricksters have no mastery skills with -% lightning resistance, e.g. mines. Though this is somewhat offset by the fact that very few genuses of monsters have high lightning resist. But also the FS line yields greater overall flat instant damage for DW than the Savagery line.

Sabo doesn’t have HotW or Wendigo Totem though.

This can go on and on. Personally I feel Sabo has better synergy, but this build has its merits as well. Before that Sabo build, BM was the only DW class getting attention.

Spellbreaker too. But since Beronath’s Fury nerf we don’t see much of them.
