I focused on getting max DS on shaman. Then on Occultist i went for CoF+Vuln+SoC. And the basic buffs, SW and MP. With these basic skills (putting the exact points from build) i have had no problems at all leveling. Generally, i have focused on Occultist. Dont even have Wendigos Totem yet since i dont need it. I recently got Doom Bolt and its a nice addition but not really needed for leveling =)
Playstyle is CoF+DS on all incoming mobs. If 2 million of them arrive or a boss i pop SoC+BoD as well. Then tank the shit out of them with Oleron’s Might (Oleron’s Blood). Also have haunted steel for some extra heals when tanking.
Max swarm first. Devotion frocs will also help a lot (Wendigo mark), Sigil +Fiend then, Solael devotion, Doom Bolt, And at this point you are unstoppable.
Yes now that I weaned myself off using the Searing Ember skill it’s really easy. Even rushing to Doom Bolt with only 1 point in most main skills (3 sigil, 3 swarm) it was easy.
i have wendigo and flame torrent but it was easy before then and much easier once wendigo was on cof.
Main issue now i put more points in is energy regen! i have to be patient and only use swarm once and wait for them to die. only a couple of seconds usually. i often have to kite bosses though, might be different when i get totems etc.
its hard to make myself stand close to them anyway lol. but that means i dont get much from flame torrent since it just makes a small circle around my feet, id need to be standing closer.
i can def say its better to play this in the build from the start tho. by a mile.
PS seem to need searing ember to open heroic spoils and remains etc! haha
or burn the cd on another skill lke sigil / doom.

Wiki says its from Riftstone component but i dont see any gear u have with a riftstone on it looking at the GT.

i dont have any recipes for useful relics atm so i cant bind hungering void to anything

i think i have one but my weapons are so bad - i was about level 23 before i remember to change the dagger i found at level 1 lol. Shows how good the build plays

The gear i presented is for the rigors of crucible but in vanilla I do the same as you and recommend it to everyone else:)
Edit: BTW I asume you have 2x Pyromancer affix for that maxed out Sigil. Neat;)
Am i the only one having issues to aim with doom bolt?
Its not rare that i miss my target and waste DB on a trash mob or simply into the ground :mad:

Yes DB is hard to aim on moving targets. but the fast ones are usually only fast for a while (like,while they are charging then they stop). or sometimes they stop to fire something at u.
i found it useful to learn their movement patterns and predict when they are stopped for a second, then frazzle em. since DB has a cd thats ok, its not like u r missing out on spamming DB on them.
I noticed that too… any idea how I can push it further? :undecided: I am guessing that mark of apostate should increase it up… but I want a maxed out sigil!
I used devils cage as soon as i hit lvl 50 and it s a fun item.
I couldnt figure out why groups of enemies miles away were looking like they been made into cupcakes. then i saw dmg numbers floating out of them b4 they died… and saw that things that hit me did the same…
i realised this is the hauberk making a prison and doing loads of chaos dmg. lol
even tho my old armour was good for energy regen i kept this on anyway just for the fun of it. such a fun build
