The +skills one and the without-skills ones dont always seem to add up?
Example is Second Rite, u have 4 in the without-skills calc and then 9 in the +skills one.
But u have +6 Occultist skills i think, so 4+6 should get 10.
So are you moving some points around later on to get to the final setup?
You can put as much as you want in shaman. Keep 10 points if you want, especially if you don’t play crucible. Personally i feel I have enough stuff to click already:)
Well said. And if you read the thread you will find other levelling ways, maybe better. not gonna re-hash them so u can avoid reading. soz if that sounds harsh.
I kept back 10 points from Shaman mastery as well - same as u i dont want any more buttons to press but we could max out the skills that have points missing? Which would you think is most important?
What do u think of:
Max wendigo / HoW cos they only cost 1 pt each.
Then look at Sol.Witchfire/Second Rite - but they reserve a lot of energy? So maybe…
Blood Pact could be quite good cos it ups the ADctH from wendigo? And adds Vit dmg.
BTW - how do you deal with Hungering Void? It costs 248 life per second for me atm which is LOADS. And it runs for 20 seconds so that’s 5k life - I just never use it.
Maybe it’s only to use in a big fight that lasts a long time when you can get the life back for 20 seconds?
But in a short fight my life just keeps dropping after the fight is over so I don’t use it and then… I get out of the habit, so i forget to use it in a big fight
Thanks, I’ve been trying to use HV more in big fights.
I tried a couple of other characters for a while but they struggled a bit, so I started playing this again and it’s really good. It tanks and cuts through trash, heroes and most bosses…
But I’ve not been playing in Act 4 much cos I have been getting nemesis with Cronley & Undead for a while. I just faced Fabius for 1st time but it was really really tough - I had to run around a rock for ages dropping Wendigo and SoC while the Decimation skill from relic did damage and shows me where he is lol.
I’m missing a lot of gear from your build though. Can you look at my char and see what I could do better? Here he is: http://www.grimtools.com/calc/gZwPXkNj
Some numbers look off: Actual OA = 1926, DA = 2191
Also I have 3 skill points unused not 6.
It seems to upload with weapons switched - I’m using Tome of Arcane Wastes/Dagger of Bloody Cov
though really can’t take builds like these seriously if they need to rely on obvious hax pants/pauldrons to cap resists
also irony @mad_lee? that your own druid build rely on similar pants…
my build does not rely on those pants, you can go for arcane harmony leggings with tinker’s ingenuity belt if you don’t have solael sect leggies. I got mine thru legit trade too. His pauldrons tho.
and the build doesn’t need that. You could get good resist’s with other pants and augment shift. Enough at least for vanilla. Sine the build was designed for crucible in the firsty place it has the best stuff on it. That’s all. But in campaign you hardly need to be so rigorous.
I made this concept for crucible initially. that is why no leveling guide. I usually like to play the concept in mind from the start so you could level with Swarm then level occultist, Vulnerability, some bloody poz to help you ti’ll you get to Doom bolt. But that is mush slower. If you want fast go transmuted DEE and vulnerability.
Nice build etc and I’ve got one question: How people manage to get these godly green items like “Stonehide Solael-Sect Legguards of Kings” ? Been farming Solael Guardian for a week now, few hours a day and didn’t get a single pants with a “Stonehide” prefix. Not to mention the fact that getting both affixes at once seems kinda nearly impossible. I’ve been told, that the most unique legendaries are those boss specific like Alkamo’s rings or Decree of Aldritch. Compared to finding greens with exact affixes, getting both Alkamo’s rings was as easy as drinking a glass of water. Farming Crucible wasn’t a good source of Solael-Sect pants either. Am I doing something wrong ?
