insta SS dive in, spam nullification to reduce his dmg, he cast lightning bolt to reduce your light res-you see shield effect on your head- again nullfiy yourself when you see this debuff, spam RoS for fumble and whilrpool proc off cd, pretty easy for most arcanist… very fast and clean kill

just play safer than this, i used to jump left to right alot cause i am familiar with playstyle and cooldown of my skills, dont try to tank more than 2 flesh hulks they can easily kill you, rest is cakewalk, and always nullify aetherfire curse from yourself it sux, dont get cornered, dont lure mobs the area you didnt explore yet

well this is kinda weird setup designed by me, basically a cold dmg dealer char mixing small part of melee and TSS caster types.
the main reason why i didnt go pure melee is simply their lack of aeo!
the main reason why i didnt go full TSS is simply skill design is not reliable enough for CD skill… and its kinda super boring playstyle for players like mehyperactive type to wait CD of skill.

!! i can clearly say that this char went beyond my expectations, his aoe clear is kinda unmatched if not the best top 3 all i can say… and single target dmg is kinda super satisfying , not a dw bmaster lvl but simply can follow after that brute force class

Why you want to play this build & What you can do with this build

*first of all, its pretty dynamic char, far from being boring 1 button spam caster or hold down cadence melee char…
*tons of spells to control, mobile, provide excellent CC and massive AEO CLEAR… you generally clear whole screen in blink of an eye…
*TOOONzzz of eye candy procs, adds maximum joy to build while playing

*and ofc stomp all rogue likes so so hard, speed runs are gonna be real.

not so much gear dependant, all legendary items you wanna use are easy replacable with min cost of dps or defence. i bet you already have all items you need for build
high OA + high crit values can go 3.1k with minimum tweaks
high DA for caster * can go 2.4k with some tweaks*
high dodge chance -> %30 + %50 chance to fumble enemies offers pretty clean play

Cons of build & solution

low armor due to unique caster set, and i didnt even bother to get more, after my dodge chance & fumble and clear speed. and ofc low armor absorb.
no physical resistance…

solution its quite hard to have all in 1 as hybrid spellbreaker so i went high dodge chance pair with high fumble chance, and stacked some DA to compansate lack of armor and physical resistance. and i %100 guarantee you that its working perfectly fine

well like antimage says in dota ‘cost of magic’ everything comes with cost in arpg, i went greedy devotion setup and want more dps to reduce the length of fightsmy main strat in arpgs anyway
so basically this char heavily relly on player skills, mirror + pburst + blade barrier timings, decisions when to dive with shadow strike and such.

the main reason i made this new miniguide isinstead of adding other guide mainly playstyle of this char seriously requires some experience plays, fast fingers and player has to be familiar with spellbreaker generall playstyle.

in the end its a spellbreaker, with 4 sec cooldown pburst + %30 dodge + 2.3k DA with mirror and nullification and blade barrier, unless you are playing really poorly…
its wayyyyyyyyyy too hard to die with this char ofc meantime if you didnt kill your enemy yet.

**you can get more trap resist with chains of oleron on chest
**you can get max freeze resist with full alkamos set or small tweaks
**can push dodge upto 45 with some item tweaks aswell

tested around 150-170 aspeed setup i dont think its worth to push aspeed that high for cost of other things… %111 aspeed seems low but it gets the job done, enough to proc 2-3 execution per boss25-40k direct cold dmg
hp regen goes upto 890 with aegis relic & giants blood proc

PS: as being spellbreaker fangay, i dont mind psn & bleed resist that much, you can just use nullification on yourself to remove those nasty effects. keep in mind that, if i want to or lets say think its needed; i would max all resist +80 all… this is perfectly fine but relly on your own skills and timing…
for fabius and iron maiden, changing belt to blade breaker sash or tinkers might be option aswell…farming factions still

SKILLS & DEVOTIONS

this is weird hybrid char which has no dedicated set so this is my preffered skill and devotion setup, like i always say ‘you are tailor here’ feel free to change anything for your taste&choice.

falcon swoop is there for just easy pathing
got harpy instead of owl for flat oa + bleed resist

devotion binds

rhowans crown - shadow strike %85 chance , opening&initiation skill to proc RR first, i find this crucial to start fights with RR asap
whirlpool - ring of steel OR tss %100 chance, i spam RoS insta after SS to freeze fumble packs so its more suited, bind it to TSS for mad queen or other fights you need to kite around
blizzard - %100 chance on crit on ABB, blizzard carry weapon dmg so it helps you leech hp back aswell
falcon swoop - %51 on attack TSS or RoS, doesnt matter we have small benefit from it, still recks trash and helps you leech aswell

put crescent moon weapon on your main hand with haunted steel to get max benefit from devotion procs adcth…

PLAYSTYLE
this part is crucial, you have a seriously deadly combo like most cooldown centric chars that can be pulled off smoothly… you wont have +100k dmg or frostburn ticks but all around your combo deals TONs of dmg in super short period of time…wayyyyy more than 100k

1 -> shadow strike in, this is your RR devotion trigger and jumping move, try to aim middle of pack to maximize aeo of rhowans crown and upcoming RoS freeze&fumble + TSS + whirlpool combo

2-> RoS OR ABB -> it really depends on area or playstyle you want, if you prefer safest route, spam RoS to freeze & fumble packs and proc whirlpool
if you go max dps route, spam ABB to proc lethal assault for oa + cold dmg
then continue RoS + TSS , whirlpool combo… i mostly spam ABB first to maximize dps

3-> TSS -> DROP DA HAMMER… or snip range packs from safe spot

needless to say keep pburst up always, you have 4 sec pburst which is quite broken imo
time your mirror, its crucial… if you happend to have 1 item with skill cooldown reductiongildam arcanum suffix i guess you can chain 2 mirrors in a row which is quite broken aswell considering you have galactic dmg output in short period
eh blade barrier if needed, last 1-2 days i never used this, its just celebrating move after killing something 2 crescent cold wep types looks cool as f*** all i can say w/e
use nullification wisely, to remove debuffs on yourself like psn bleed curses and such, and use it wisely on reflective + bubble bitches + frozen + unstopable enemies and massive elemental dmg hitters like valdaran to reduce their dmg.
keep in mind that, if you stay close to enemieslets say valbury trio in the video you can nullify multiple enemies to reduce their dmg, and remove their buffs and also can purge yourself at the same time- win & win
use haunted steel active to buy yourself time, never forget that you are not a tank or someshit, but it gets the job done and let you facetank something meantime
use gaze of berenoth if needednever used till now dont know

GEARING
feel free to change any item you want or think its better than these, i dont have crazy MI gear and i doubt i will farm any… this is what i find while leveling and got eastern set armor from my mule, and got my boots from other char…

main goal is , getting cold damage, frostburn damage and extra frostburn dmg duration, oa + da, hp hp regen resist and standart stuff…

keep in mind that i didnt bother to cap, psn and bleed due to nullification and feeling super confident about generall spellbreaker playstyle… its so so easy to cap +80 ALL resist including stun with this char with small augment and component changes…

i dont think something is BIS for these kind of chars…

but try to keep your RR high is my best advice,
aswell as OA… you can reach 3.1,3.2k OA with lethal assault with minor tweaks… it will cost you your DA and i dont think its needed.
you can also push your DA to 2450ish for the cost of some dmg and OA… i didnt bother with armor, needs super duper tweaking and not worth it due to your high dmg output…
you can trade your belt with something good rare rollswatcher mi’s with gildam arcanum suffix for skill cooldown reduction, to chain mirror of eroctes, i tested and its plain broken for these kind of builds imo.
easter set is just way too good to pass, and proc deals 10-20k auto bombing procs… i wouldnt get foold by low armor
1 loxmere dagger is perfectly possible in this build , but again trozan or shard of asterkan for all overall effectiveness beats it.
bladebreaker sash is another good belt you may consider.
aegis relicunderrated gives you around 300-350 flat DA and, hp regen, some armor and vitality resist… its pretty crucial for ultimate safe farming… thats where my greed stopped and went aegis for some juicy DA… change relic if you want, you will have more dps cost of safety deathchill is BIS for dmg…
alkamos set rings are so good aswell… set proc is welcomed. and cap your freeze resist
after all procs and plays, you have %85 RR on enemies + %15 from wep augment its pretty enough to make all enemies cry*

** keep in mind that, after some point of the game spellbreakers doesnt need dmg, we are talking about 2 chars with description of ‘high dmg’ tag in game itself… so dont trade your overall defences for more dmg.***

rest is depends on your choices…

again, i never expected this amount of performance from cold&frostburn char, it went beyond my expectations tbh…
INSANE aeo clear speed with tons of flashy procs, mixing 2 diff playstyle in 1 and super fast boss killing speed… i am enjoying alot while playing this girl.
if you have plan to make cold char and dont wanna limit yourself to 1 route. this may be your new char…

its not even funny how this build clears whole screen in matter of seconds…

but maxd SS single target dps is lets say X4-5 better than this for the initial hit ofc. but overall its still lower damage output on the long run, because

you can output 80k-130k SS crits meanwhile, this char total combo already deals wayyyy moreeee damage since you spam 2nd SS… thats the whole point of build anway. TSS dot ticks are 50-70k per sec with aegis relic far from bis gear, just saying.

also its way different build than this if i wanted to play SS spam build i would already do it. same goes for TSS side, this is just hybrid char.

Check your setup dummy kill time if its more than 30-35 secs you are not dealing more dmg than ss spamming combo on the long run or w/e

are we talking about pure cold SS build or pierce cold oriented deathmark set with tons of +ss skill?

pure SS might be abit stronger than this, but again might be and SS naturally pure single target focus, still have to see some1 performance to confirm.

this build has no dedicated sets, and i am so far away from bis gear and dont think ill farm something to wear more than this…

we prolly talk about diff setups and diff builds, and comparing well geared char to this hybrid creation

Cold & Frostburn combo, pierce & cold can go under 30 secs on dummy iirc. You can use some pieces of DM on it but its not mandatory tho chest and shoulders are bis.
You dont have much issues when it comes to AOE with it.
It uses similar gear

well when i change my shoulderswhich is trash rare, relic to deathchill/iskandra/nemesis, and boots to some cold frostburn dmg, 1 component to coldstone, i went down 30-35 sec on dummy kill.
tho i dont kill dummies and i dont think it gives any usefull info about chars… there are tons of other things to measure and consider.

and again SS spam build is prolly X5 slower than thistested maybe more cause nightfall aeo dmg is not comparable to TSS, and you wait around 2 sec to spam another SS meanwhile i am comboing other spells to match same dps tho lets say more dps.

my intention is building chars&writing guide with reasonable gear and offer different&versatlie&dynamic playstyle… another reason i dont mix max that much in GD or test dummy kills cause i see no reason for a solo game when you already zerk down the whole content.

for reference, while IK bwc guy&warborn witchblade barely clear 1 screen in valbury and some of builds on list, i probably already cleared my 2nd or half way through 3rd screen or someshit… to compare aoe clear performances… and proof is there i am not assuming or talking from nonsense you can easily see clear speed difference cause its MASSIVE, keep in mind that i didnt even pushd my char or min maxd it, just imagine lol… period.
prolly your bwc perfoms better than this gave it as example nothing else

and valbury trio bosses video i posted, i nearly got all 3 bosses %10-20 hp at the same time around 10-15secs…
same story for valdaran…

i never said its best build or op or broken or i am not claiming it is,its just good buildand dont need SS and proof is there… and i am not trashing those builds, every build has strengths and weaknesses. just random videos i checked to compare…

you say SS spam is better, and i say i tested and its NOT.period. and its period for again big reason, SS spam build has laughable aoe clear compare to this. it maybe better for dealing single target dps but who on earth said that this build lacks single target dps ? i mean seriously proof again is there valbury cough trio cough

again, this build uses gear can be crafted or drop so frequent or lets say super easy to obtain, has its own style, most gear i use i found while leveling. the whole point of guide is making a char with reasonable gear, not tons of crazy rolled mi’s and super rare legendaries which has small help to build forum.still usefull tho

also people find cold damage weak, sure its not the best but another reason i made this build is cold dmg still has its own place. heck you can even freeze lock mad queen and kill around 15 20 sec with any cold build etc.

finally, if i think this build is the best i would never post some1else guide in my main post, which is Weyu’s TSS spellbreaker… i got some nice ideas from his guide, cause his guide was clean&well written&informative.no offense

i guess we agree to disagree about this topic, this is my final words

oh also, i dont play arpgs to showoff or kill dummiesagain no offense, and i find it quite weird and not helpfull to undersand build power… i just use dummy to check my celestial efficiency and understand skill animations.

Sry but Im not playing this game for two days to believe that upgrading relic and changing component, bots and shoulders can benefit you 50% increase in single target dps. Its insulting for my common seance, that’s all.

seriously asking, this char needs to be ‘better’ than this ? with same gear requirement…

and there is video of valbury clear, fresh content which everyones favorite, id rate that clear speed is wayyy too gooddepends, considering the build requirement and availablity for most community.

can SS spam build can match that clear speed ? we need proof mate, or clean well written reasons… still, i have huuuuuuuuuuuge doubts about it.

you already did this once, about s&b cadence bmaster, this 2nd time you are talking with assumptions about my chars, like you play my char or you know what its capable of , or you know it better than me… you have access to my savefiles or something ?

this part is crucial, dont make me wanna start my arpg or dota history. and GD is a game which is not hard by any means for experienced players, heck %95 of builds are so obvious, mostly shaped & directed by devotions and items which requires slightly less creativity then other games i played. i would ask 1 of my close guild friend to start GD and he will be rocking rolling whole content less than 1 month without fucking item packs&hacks.

w/e i am highly out of my general attitude in this topic, i will be happy to stop all this nonsense and peace out with in the respect to each others
or we better stay away from each other and call it a day…

well i dont think PRM can be combined something with melee/melee*ish playstyle, its more like stay back and nuke down crowd ability…
prm + devestation or storm totems etc is fine but i dont think its wise move to combine it with TSS or melee hybrids. still it should work but might not be effective as this one is.

TSS works great as melee spellbreaker playstyle cause, its small/decent aeo nuke with huge Dot, and when you shadow strike middle of packs you get huge benefit of nightschill resist reduction for your deadly combo, actually this what makes this build one of best all around aeo + single target clearer in game imo.
