[1.0.5.1]Shar'zul's Fire ForceWave Tactician (no green)

crucible(+1way) 151~160 5min

crucible(+1way) 161~170 5min 30sec

thanks

Looks surprisingly viable with 36% stun resist and 0% slow resist…

You are missing augments on the ring and pants.

Revise now~ thanks~

Yup, I switched over from Arcanor to Shar’zul’s a week ago and nearly doubled my effective dps. But I still prefer Ignaffar’s Combustion, Scales of Beronath for belt and the elemental rings. However, pushing Gladiator 150-170 might be better with your modifications, 4k DA is pretty sweet, especially since I’m playing HC.

Nice ballsy gameplay:)

thanks for the guide!
can you tell me what’s a good way to progress with my skill trees?

I currently have ForceWave maxed and the 2 support skills for FW at level 1, should I start working on Inquisitor skills to unlock “Inquisitor Seal” next and max it out?

thank you!

Hi, I have a similar build with a few minor differences. I haven’t tried it in SR yet, what is your opinion on its success? Do you have any suggestions for improvements, or should I rather wait for the new expansion? I want to keep both the classes and the weapon as they are.

Hi welcome to forum

This thread is 7.5 years old - much has happened with the game since.

Could you post a grim tools link so we can examine build?

And if you are not HC, just play the game and see for yourself what you can do with it

This is my old build. The version isn’t up to date; GrimTools just assigned it the latest version because I uploaded the build just now.

I’m open to many options, I just want to keep these three things:

  1. Weapon – Shar’Zul’s Worldeater
  2. Class – Tactician
  3. Primary Attack – Forcewave

I updated your devotion because it was somewhat of a mess (although I liked general direction)
Also changed proccers because Solael’s Witchblade on Seal is kinda bad if you’re against a single target.
Maybe someone else can improve items if it’s needed

Thanks for the feedback and the advice, I’m testing the limits of this build. It has a slight disadvantage in being quite static, but that’s okay for now – it’s manageable.

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for improvement, please let me know.

Thanks!

I haven’t played fire FW in awhile and never as a Tactician but I took a stab at it (continuing off of @tqFan 's post).

Some notes:

I went more offensive while also trying to maintain defense. Having super high DA and physical resist isn’t as important as it used to be and your OA was really low.

-Badges of Mastery are very outdated and no one uses them anymore. You don’t have a clear best for medal so Shadow Queen seems solid and is craftable.
-Slow resist is very low and you’re constantly getting hit with it by mobs these days. Tranquil Legwraps gives you a big chunk of it, plus OA and covers all spirit needs.
-Combustion bands are in most fire builds now for the proc. Your Gargabol ring is ok but I’d try Reign of Ice & Fire if you can craft one.

Other than that, I moved around skill points with some left over. Could put them into Blindside for more DA shred, or Decorated Soldier for a bit more slow resist. You don’t have great options for devotion proccers so you could use Storm Box for something.

I put Bane in for the relic but Ignaffar’s Combustion would probably best for overall damage.

Thanks for the advice! Thanks to your tips, I finished SR 35—had 3 deaths, but I made it!
For the medal, I used: Sigil of the Bear King Relic: Ignaffar’s Combustion

What I don’t understand is how you managed to get 16 Eldritch devotion points. When I follow your setup, I only have 14 points and can’t unlock Ulzuin’s Torch. I ended up putting 3 points into Scholar’s Light, but now I’m missing one point in Torch and two points in Rhowan’s Crown.

Thanks for the help!

You’re probably missing some star in Magi constellation. Complete it fully. GT doesn’t lie. After that respec from Scholar after that. Also if you have not completed Rhowan’s Crown then you must be having some additional Purple source. Probably Purple Crossroad. Respec out of it after completing Crown.

Yeah, I can get to where you’re showing in the picture without any issues, but what then?
I can’t seem to get any further than that and do it correctly.
I’m going to try out a few different options.

Move the yellow/brown bar on right side, point by point, where there is written “Devotion Progression: 29/55”.

For example, if you move it to right it will show the next move on how to complete the whole devotion setup.

EDIT: green is adding and red glow is removing.

As I said alreayd, I’m confident you just don’t / didn’t have Magi finished… No need to redo the whole setup
