[1.0.6.1] Knights of Nurgle - Acid Fiend Cabalist

This is the first pet build I’ve put together… not sure if something similar has been done, but here it is. Plenty of green to splash around the screen, x3 acid fiends smacking stuff around, and a skeletal servant to soak a bit more damage for you. The build is fairly safe, and you could switch ring augments for more DA if you prefer (tbh it isn’t needed except for certain circumstances in crucible like Maiden + x2 reaper… even then with a little luck and the right piloting you can overcome without it.)

It isnt the fastest build, but it can clear 150-170 in about 13-15 minutes.
Damage can be increased a bit by dropping points from spectral binding/wrath and putting them into call of the grave.
More healing can be picked up by dropping points from spectral binding/wrath and investing in familiar / mend flesh

I forgot to summon my familiar in this one lol

Spoiler I die on 170. I get meme’d by Valdaran into a stun followed by an Alex meteor… Would have cleared if not for that. Double valdaran/reaper/alex

Excuse my bad piloting
I’m used to playing melee builds :stuck_out_tongue:

Be very lucky with a roll when it is crafted.

With this set up you can cover pierce resist at the cost of some damage for your pets. on the plus side it will make you, and your pets have more physical resist.
You will want either pierce resist or chaos resist roll on the amulet. Then you can switch to 10% pierce augments on some slots too. (depending on what your resist roll was)

You dont have stun resist either, but relying on having a well rolled green is the only way to really have it. Unless you want to but a leathery hide on your helm.

example - no greens chaos resist roll

Kinda the build I wanted to make when Blight fiend was still bugged. Had to park it and limit myself to feedback. Nice going:p

Thisscepter is also pretty nice to consider

It definitely would be worth testing! Or using in place of the mace, if you didnt have it.

Your pets are affected by Blood of dreeg and receive the bonuses:

10% Chance of 540 Poison Damage over 5 Seconds to Blood of Dreeg
+8% Attack Speed to Blood of Dreeg

Good point here

While those are a dps increase, I dont think I would give up the hp/healing from everliving. It put you at over -100 regen, and removes any cushion you have for elemental resist. Also your pets would lose a sizable chunk of da… for campaign Viper would probably be superior, but crucible I definitely would stick with everliving. Or perhaps Deathgrips for extra summons, more pet damage.

That is why Necro summoners benefit even more from RE+Bat.

On my Ritualist all is well with Hungering void

Simple fix, drop toad /crossroad for bat… pets lose some OA/adcth… but gain extra sustain. https://www.grimtools.com/calc/q2m9wwo2

Yep. Toad really is nothing for expendable Kamikaze like anomaly Blight fiend

Maybe 2x Biars, primal spirit but fiends and skeletons don’t get so much from toad

Nice build. Tried it early. Sadly mine cant do 150-170. Maybe because I dont play cruci at all.

Excellent theme for the build Valinov - Warhammer references are always welcome!

I was about to post the link to your build. It helped me with mine.

Here’s my version. It’s surely worse because it went from a pure Poison Caster with BF as a support ability. I can’t let the pets do all the job, so I maxed Ravenous Earth :stuck_out_tongue:
GRIMTOOL

Anyway, I’m glad this concept is almost c+ viable.

Nice to know that my build helped someone. I do really enjoy seeing only few pets on pet builds and not that crazy zoo running around like conjurer.
Sorry OP for hijacking your thread.

Not highjacked at all! The more discussion on these types of builds the better, as they are under represented in the whole imo. For some reason when I searched the forums for “blight fiend” your thread didn’t show up for me, otherwise i probably would have just put my build/thoughts in the comments on yours.

Probably cause it’s really DEEP know. I’ve observed that some builds tend to be just too niche and therefore they kinda get overlooked. Dunno really just my 2c.

Wow, very nice build, perfect timing for me too, my Cabalist just hit 68. Giving me a lot of ideas. Gameplay feels very nice.

Thanks!

I like how this thread is going, people helping with suggestions and stuff.

The way it should be! :D:D
