had 9k gold in my trader and 5k in my towns resources.
Every time i brought a relic. the gold would be taken out of the trader hub - but the workers would then go to the town stockpile and transfer the gold from the towns gold resources back to the trader with each relic purchase.
I brought 3 relics from 3 different traders, same thing happened each time.
my trader ended up with 6.5k an my town with 0.
no other purchases were made → as i wanted them to bring goods to sell but instead they spent 5-10mins moving gold around for no reason when i hadn’t asked them too.
I belive it’s a bug as no other “goods” behave in such a way.
Are you sure you had no initial move before that? The trade post seems to miscalculate the aim of a gold move versus the coin stack on the destination and keeps moving gold to fulfil the initial target.
The trader arrived . i broused the selection .
nothing i wanted to either buy or sell from my goods or theirs.
noticed i had a decent stash of 9k gold. figured i’d buy the relics (as i’m 500/500 pop limit with around 300 supply of most goods). if… the other traders arrived with nothing i wanted/needed.
so i waited.
2nd arrived same deal.
so i brought 1st relic from the first trader, an the 2nd relic from the second trader. (that dropped me down to around 3.5k gold)
went an did some town stuff when i got the notifiation for the 3rd trader that arrived.
decided to buy the 3rd relic when i noticed i still had more gold than made sense, (the 1st trader had left but the 2nd was still there and missing a relic, checked my temple both relics had been brought and were visable)
i looked at my town’s total gold an it was a 0g.
with the way i play the game.
i only send gold from the trading post to the town. not the other way around - goes against my “mindset” so to speak. i stock the trader with goods , keep around 1-3k gold in the trader at all times and once i go over that limit i either buy goods that my town needs or send the gold back to town to “invest” in building upgrades etc. i did that two years prior, so there hadn’t been an “order” to move any gold in any direction for atleast 2 in game years.
so when gold went from my town to my trading post i’m like “OI! i didn’t give that command! wtf?!”
hence me creating a bug report - just encase it’s not “working as intended” for the relics.
