I wouldn’t mind a bit of spec advice either - just finished act 4 and hit lvl 70 and not sure where to start putting points now for more damage.
I actually levelled with 1h + shield from the start since I wanted to check out Oathkeeper and maxed out Aegis & Celestial Presence first off while ignoring Soldier skills. I also went with Divine Mandate for my exclusive skill since I was already there, will replace that with Olereon’s Blood later. Early acts I was destroying all the trash with Aegis but elites and bosses took a while with auto attack since I started in Ultimate. Damage is much better now though and pretty hard to kill, only boss I have struggled with recently is Bloodlord Thalonis.
Gear is trash since I am just playing with what I found along the way except for the Markovians Strategem - I put a point each in Markovian’s Advantage & Zolhan’s Technique to make use of that since I am autoattacking a lot.
Just wondering where to put points efficiently now to boost my damage some more - Presence of Virtue, Safeguard, Decorated Soldier or maybe push on in soldier some more for Break Morale?
one easy suggestion for levelling S&B warlord is to always use the hidden path at the start of FG to grab the Totally Normal Shield (depending on difficulty it rolls at 50/75/94). Unless you get disgustingly lucky with a mutant arm, there’s not much better until you hit 94.
Shards amulet is good and it drops in the shards quite often. But this build and all warlords are gonna be nerfed very soon (and deservedly so) so don’t get all too hyped collecting gear for it.
And honestly, whatever you slap on a warlord its gonna be better than most builds in the game right now. So just get any set, any shield, any main and go for sr75.
I have no idea how you survive in ultimate without Cold, Aether, Chaos and Acid resistance, but it seems to work out for you.
For your Skill point allocation, just put your points into Internal trauma from the Force Wave line and avenging Shield from the Aegis line for more bounces, ni need to respec at the moment
Hey, I like the look of this build. However as a noob I’m having trouble leveling a new character. I took a merit and started on elite but my damage is very bad with forcewave and I keep dieing frequently. Sometimes I have to go through multiple tries to kill a boss. I’m around Blood Grove and I’m level 47.
This is my first soldier/oathkeeper and I usually suck at making my own way. I enjoy following leveling guides. I tried following your mini guide but like I said I can’t progress anymore. I got sick of dieing. What I do is I kite bosses around and hit them with forcewave but the damage is so low and I end up dieing before which heals the boss. Any tips? Thank you!
