1-35 - two main options - BWC and Firestrike. Both are pretty good. Depending on the gear you have / find.
35 and up - craft Conflagration relic and use its channelling skill as your primary source of damage. All skill points now go to max vindictive flame and grab mortar trap and thermite mine. Conflagration is very powerful but drains energy fast, so use it in short bursts - usually enough to wipe out the entire screen of mobs. Finish the Demo line of skills up to the second node of Mortar and switch start Soldier mastery. Reach Menhir’s Bulwark and max it out first. Then finish the rest the way you like.
Devotions.
I suggest grabbing the crown first for RR, then going for obelisk and tree of life. Giant and witchfire come last. If leveling via crucible, you get 10-20 dev points there, then get the rest by the time you are done with Normal/Veteran.
Gear.
The shield can be farmed right away. The rest is not important till the end. Just get fire/burn, energy /health regen, max res and keep armor high. That’s about it.

Unfortunately before i read you leveling strategy i have invested skill points in soldier mastery assuming that it would be better for leveling. Now i have problems with low dps and not enough points to switch to your leveling way. May be you can give some advices - how to correct my current state to bring it to your build? It only costs iron bits to get those points back. I wouldn’t go with the soldier mastery for levelling. All you need to get decent damage is thermite mine, flame touched and mortar. For the main damage part craft conflagration. Also, add enchanted flints in your weapon and offhand. https://www.grimtools.com/calc/YZeKy9p2
But if you insist on continuing with the soldier, - I’d still use conflagration and enchanted flints and drop all points from cadence and forcewave.

haha not really. i had just aquired my 1st pyran set piece and the damn pistol eluded me the whole time =/ Died farming SR55+ on elite to a Demon Nemesis that kept striping me of my buffs =/ Was a bit of a shock really, wasnt expecting the spike in damage, had about 16k hp.

No wonder you RIPed. But good job making it to SR55 on elite. I normally avoid going that far even on Elite, until all my gear is ready and optimized. Hope you have better luck on your reroll!
i really couldnt resist lol, 4+ legendarys per run as opposed to one… i got greedy lol, and i didnt really know this damn nemesis was so OP, had never seen him before, if i knew i would have just kited. I’m rerolling an AAR druid for now, maybe i’ll try again with this build if/when the current one rips. At least now i have the recipe for the pyran head and tinker’s. Too bad Celestial Lotus is such a pita to farm.
It was worth the trouble imo, Pyran is still good, especially for HC. 100 flat regen, 60% regen, good OA and generally strong fire bonuses. Now you can craft it. Also, don’t bother with the lotus, tinker’s is better imo.
