What about using the deathstalker relic. Would that be an alternative or just strictly worse?

it is not pet like other in build
that’s why deathstalker will be weak pet
In on the first posts you said that you have an alternative devotion build, more offensive with Eye of Korvaak, Aetherfire etc
What defensive constellations you use with that version ?

i don’t see any alternative this rings
they give us to much
- flat poison and % acid + poison
- conversion phys to acid (Briarthorn and Primal Spirit have some phys damage)
amulet u can change to Conduit of Undying Whispers
but i think Bysmiel’s Iris is BiS
but) if u use conduit u can take Mark of Torment for more safe play

did you try with necrolords gaze? could it be an Option?
You can use Mythical Necrolord’s Gaze only with this belt Mythical Nosferattis
Because Mythical Necrolord’s Gaze don’t have 100% Reduced Mind Control Duration and Mythical Circlet of the Great Serpent have
Are pet bonuses and + 1 to Shaman from Mogdrogen Ardor better than extra pet from Dirge of Arkovia?
It all depends on where you play
I’m admit the use Dirge of Arkovia in this build but Aether Resistance will be ~60%
Q: Does this build fear any foe? A: Yes! Kaisan & Aleksander. They can easy kill pets ONESHOT!
As for me, I don’t like to push my luck.
The extra pet from Dirge isn’t very useful on Ghol builds.
okay i see,
but could it be worth to skip murmur for typhos ? i mean then i have 50% mind Control and can use my necrolords for 5sec cd on primal spirit (also more phy res/crit/Health/total Speed and armor for all pets)
+remove scholars light
