Posted this over on reddit as well, but looking for some feedback. This was built on paper, but looks like it could be really strong.
I think I’m finished, though I’m looking to squeeze out capping pierce. Anyway, build looks really strong on paper, with lots of WPS/RNG-Proc Based attacks: 2x Burning Void, 1x Blazing Fury, 20% Chance of Meteor from Relic, Another 30% chance of Meteor from Ulzuins Torch, and 15% chance of Fissure from a Smite Proc. There’s some short ramp time, but at 4.28 attacks per second, should be proccing often.
Any Feedback? Also, would I be better served using Aura of Conviction for the OA, or is the Fire, Burn, and Crit from Divine Mandate better for this setup?
So I thought about that as well, but figuring it was a ranged setup, I would likely be trying to avoid being “in the fray” As such, I didn’t go with Aura of Censure because I didn’t think I would get enough value from it being away from the enemies. Similarly, I avoided Resilience and Inquisitor Seal due to the same logic of trying to be ranged.
As for RR, Celestial Presence on the Guardians of Empyrion as well as having them Proc Elemental Storm from Rhowans Crown, and a little help from Viper were my solutions there. Are those not enough?
I have not. I have a lot of hours in, but 99% melee setups. I’ve never played ranged outside of when I was leveling my Spellbreaker (mostly arcanist using PRM while leveling, and that DID keep me at range) When I think of range, I think of the D3 Demon Hunter style of play.
I ran bonemonger fire pally with 1 deviltongue and 1 dag destroyer for awhile. It’s decent enough but damage isn’t great. This wasn’t final devo tree but along these lines. Incidentally this was the last full build I made in legit game before falling into the GrimStash build spam paradigm.
