[1.1.9.0]Belgothian's Sands of Slaughter - 105 Cunning DW Blademaster

Does anyone else feel it’s unfair Belgothian’s Strikes skill icon is better than Scourge strike skill icon? Officially taking away the crown of coolness from a fucking cold skill

#CratePleaseFix

where do I get the seal of blades component from? is it a random drop or is it reputation?

i gonna try this build. thank you for new trend

From a non-reputation blue print. So you’ll have to do some hunting at level 90+ for it I imagine.

Not much to do with the build itself, but Seal of Blades aura with Blades of Wrath is hilarious. I hope it stays this way.

Sorry I don’t think I’m putting my question very clearly. I’m not talking about blind fury proccing. I’m asking if the 70% weapon damage part of blind fury, triggers from whirling blades. Since whirling blades is not a weapon.

This was an issue with blade spirits, thats why blind fury had low damage on them. I don’t know if this was ever changed. The thing that has me worried is that the attack of blade spirits is also called whirling blades, so it might be coded the same.

Also far as i know weapon % is the only portion of blind fury that attributes to ADTH(does it even still do that?).

Just finished putting this build together. The seals are a pain in the ass to craft but once you get them, it’s a lawnmawer.

Those who have attained all the gear for this build, how do you find it fares against the new nemesis mobs? I’m on the way to my Belgothians and I’ve been lucky enough to get the seal of blades to drop. Most of the AOM ultimate content with my current gear is pretty manageable, but Grava’Thul wrecks me. The old nemesis are essentially AOM hero mobs at this point.

Where do you farm the green boots?

Amazing build. Aside from the boots which you mentioned, what are some huge gear tweaks you would do to use this build as a speed farming variant? I’m looking to spam cronley/cthonic rift/ torment routes. Thanks!

So I have zero experience with Grim Dawn, literally bought the game and DLC+Expansion yesterday because it was on sale. I’m about to start playing but I wanted to do some research on builds beforehand since this game seems a bit more complicated then PoE/D3, both of which I have a lot of experience with.

Is this a good starter build for someone with no gear/experience to start with? I really love the melee playstyle and judging by the comments, this build appears to be pretty amazing lategame so I want to give it a try.

I’ve watched the progression video “guide”, it’s not super descriptive of what to do but I’m sure I’ll figure it out as I go along. Am I going to hate my life if I try this build untwinked or is it manageable?

Also, when do I respec out of the cold AABurst build and switch to this? Do I need the entire Belgorthian set to make the final skillset work or can I do it before that?

Thanks in advance for any advice you guys are willing to give, I really appreciate it as I’ve heard great things about GD.

This build heavily relies on good gear and particulary - on ability provided by full Belgothian set. So no, you cant just start from scratch with this build.
You can start as Soldier, though, and play using Forcewave or Cadence till you farm all required gear, then just switch passives/devotions/attributes. It is doable, but you wont use this build for leveling or farming, cause it will be too weak without required gear).

Hi Fluff, any progress made regarding the “for the rich version” ?

I don’t get. How’s your spirit so high without any investment in spirit?

Edit: Oh, the pants

Can you still get lvl 70 recipe drops when you’re over 90? Specifically Belgothian’s Carnage

Thanks for the response. That’s fair, so should I just be using the Amarasta Blade Burst leveling build until I manage to get the full set going?

There is also a video showing hoe to lvl with NB. I find it a bit more fast paced in spite of being squishier

Yeah I watched the video and I’m currently using that method, my question is moreso when do I switch over to the final build from the NB leveling method? When I acquire the entire Belgothian 4 piece set, or can I do it earlier? Sorry if this question is silly haha, like I said I’ve just started playing.

I’d suggest to start as Soldier and use Forcewave or Cadence. Those abilities are strong early and dont require good gear to shine. Use Nightblade tree just for support means for a while.
After all, you play Blademaster, Soldier + Nightblade, so why dont abuse strong gear-independant Soldier skills when leveling? You dont have to start as Nightblade to become a Blademaster.

I already started as Nightblade and invested a lot of points into the starting skills, since that’s what OP recommended. I’m a bit confused since in the video his second class is shaman and not Soldier, and he uses the shaman skill as his “auto attack”. I’m assuming Cadence is a fine substitute, right?
