Updated. No changes were made to the original items in past patches but new accessibility of MIs justifies to put some good greens into the build.

I’m sorry to bring up such an old post - can I ask why no doombolt? Is it the aoe of ABB? I’ve been building towards something like this myself and that seemed a good CD cast.

Because casting DB interrupts murderising enemies, resulting in reduced DPS + it’s best when you pump DB up to 22/12, but doing that requires skill points that can be used elsewhere. And in this case, that means dropping points needed for melee damage etc.

What am I missing with ABB, do I just need to try it and find out? I’ve used it levelling with a pair of Pusquil’s tails and I find it quite clunky. It doesn’t look like it converts here either?
Edit: I can see the bonuses on lethal assault - am I undervaluing all these and it’s interaction with other aspects of night blade skills?
I just thought the investment In DB may be a better alternative.
It’s a very outdated version of the build.
Doombolt is a dps loss, both solo target and aoe, with skillpoint investment and without.

Offhand is not good. You can vendor farm bloodsworn scepter at Benevald - get any single rare one and you’ll be fine, it’s gonna take you 20 mins tops. Also you don’t need as much aether res overcap. If you are short on hp, always take double terror augs for weapons. Most importantly, your devos aren’t optimal, you are missing a good flat rr source. Use the ones that are in my link or smth similar with Revenant.
14k HP is too low for the build, you need at least 16k.

Yes - I was in the blood grove yesterday in fact and I didn’t realise how common they dropped and the affixes/vendor where already close to rolling - sorry!
Can I ask with regard to revenant (I know link does) but for other builds is it still good if we can’t convert the aether/vitality - I’ve shied away from it if I lack the conversion despite the other benefits. Thanks again
the main point of Revenant is flat RR, those skellies do pretty abysmal damage, so conversion doesn’t really matter.

Hi me again - I’m sorry to bother you! Honestly by this point feel free to ignore but I’m really interested in your build and honestly find all the clever stuff with it fascinating - I’ve not understood some of the recommendations only to later see the genius behind them.
Can I ask (I promise for last time) is there something wrong with the black star medal’s flat rr? I knwo you also miss out on a good chunk of freeze resist. It seems like it ticks a lot of boxes & opens up more freedom with devo’s ( and skill points). I can provide grim tools but they aren’t much better and didn’t want to just spam links. I just prefer the devo’s one has ghoul and bat at 16.4k and the other just bat at 17.8k.
Nothing wrong with the medal, it’s one of the best epic items and it’s gonna be BiS for the build until the late endgame, probably.
The proc is not a reliable source of flat rr, though. It’s a small projectile with lengthy cd and random nature, and the rr value is quite small. Revenant will net more dmg, and the hp and racial reduction it provides are also handy.
fwiw, i was running with this setup (i don’t even have a voidheart for it yet) and just cleared SR65 to SR80. this build is a monster lmao
kinda curious as to whether there’s a better helmet or medal option, or if voidspire/bloodlord’s blade with good affixes would work as well as the current weapon combo. harbinger we want mainly for the damage conversion, health, and +skills for possession and second rite?

I’m making one of the Rah’zin Witch Hunter. Whats your opinion on using Voidspire Voidspire - Items - Grim Dawn Item Database to convert Execution into Chaos at full instead of Double Fang??
It’s a good item but not really best for the class. Fang of chton is superior and the bloodlord’s dagger as well.
