Well obviously to play the build you need Belgothian set, there is no way around it. Otherwise you are just playing random pierce infiltrator. Good luck finding/trading the set, once you complete it you won’t go back to your warder, believe me :).
I play 100% legit, self found(account). I still haven’t completed a set in 1K hours but am close…
just the same leg pants over and over sigh. But the worst thing is rebuilding expensive relics just to get the right completion bonus. I got lucky with Belgothian’s Carnage but not Madrogens Ador.
Just playing through the campaign last night I found the purple weapon for this build, the +1 inquisitor RoS one. Its a dps loss over superior derp slicer of alacrity though the + skills are nice, don’t make up for the loss. I’m not sure if i should use it yet but great to have. Weirdly superior is better than punctuating on these green weapons.
All i need is the shoulders/weapon and boots for the budget version of this build. I nearly died last night for the first time, i accidentally hit an aetherial human hero with her reflect up, didn’t even see it. WOW damage dot. How does this build do in crucible with all the spell spam, reflect is insane.
just reached act 5, and tanked kubra and did ancient grove. Even with my gear i can tank it all. Good build. Found the boots.
I just need belgothian slicer/shoulders, though i’ll probably beat the game and move to another character before then. https://www.grimtools.com/calc/eZPen7XN
How can you move to another character without tasting the power of the pierce king?
As long as i can beat ultimate, and do elite cruicble i’m happy with a character. One day maybe I’ll complete a set haha, most likely be beastcaller knowing my luck.
( not a fan of pet builds lol )
I have a bunch of other completed characters just waiting for sets as well heh. All good.
Do you accept gifts tho? I got stuff you need, all self-found 100% legit gathering dust on mules
thank you for this guide!
At the moment I´m working on this char and I love it.
Asked a question and found the solution 5 minutes later :-/
How do you take down gargleballs with this build?
yeeezus i barely get a couple hits on his fire form before i’m crispy
but overall a great build, plays the way a samurai character ought to play with high damage and good defense as long as you don’t get stupid
You shouldn’t have problems against anyone with this build. Or did you mean you engaged him with some other char? Because if you are playing this build, send me your grimtools, I will help.
Man this build looks great and fun. Crazy.
I’m starting again with GD after 2 years break. Always loved DW-builds and i will try this one. Starting a whole new char.
Dude, could you link your crimtools without gear? It’s kinda hard for me to see how much points you invested in each skill.
Would be great! Again, great work mate.
Press ctrl+shift on his grimtools to view skill points without bonuses. Won’t be much use for you anyway. Skills distributions in builds only work in that exact setup. Changes in gear will influence that. Levelling also has a different approach if you wanna be efficient. Backread a few pages, there’s a discussion for levelling here if you need one.
Hey Mad_lee and others, I am hoping to get some feedback from you.
I am planning to play this build and currently just very early leveling.
I have found my character to be very squishy though and I die a ton. Mostly have played pet builds so I guess I am not used to dying so much.
I am hoping you can give me some advice on how to get more defense and die less.
This is my build at 30: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/RZRlMbO2
I am leveling with Troll’s Rage and have random greens/blues.
Where should I put my skill points in order to get more survive-ability?
Hi. It would be helpful to see your full grimtools, i.e. your actual save uploaded to the grimtools site. If you don’t know how to do it, google it or search this forums.
Without seeing your actual gear and resists, it’s hard for me to say. But my advice is to soft cap Shadow Dance and use Shadow Strike with two weapons as your leveling build. But again, without seeing your actual stats it’s hard for me to say. Maybe your resists are all very low and you haven’t used a resist component, in that case, patch your res first.
16/16 Dual Blades at low levels is really useless. Better invest in other skills.
Thanks! I am working on resists, that is actually the issue it seems. I did get shadow dance as well, and I will respec some of the dual blades points, thanks for your help.
Hey mad_lee, another quick question. I saw in the post some discussion about using dermaptaran slicers while leveling. I got some at about level 42 or so. They are a huge decrease in tooltip dps and in my character screen but I am assuming that is not important or accurate?? What weapons do you suggest when leveling if not these?
I always recommend leveling as dual wield cold shadow strike. And if you can get your hands on level 50 dual crescent moons you are set till level 94.
Hello, nice build, thanks !
I read everything but cant find all the phys to pierce conversion you have mentionned, can you explain me please ?
So you posted this to be until 50,(https://www.grimtools.com/calc/4ZDXqypZ) and after that you said we can respec because we can profit from mastery, do you mind telling me what to get then? what’s the skill progression. Thanks a lot! Also shoud we put all points in Phi. until 100 then respec and put in Cunning and spirit?
