[1.2.0.0] Supreme Heals - 4x Wendigo Totems + 2x Birb, Dedicated Healing Support

GrimTools: Conjurer, Level 100 (GD 1.2.0.0) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator

New Patch = New Supports!

Description:

This build is an exploration of the latest patch’s healing capabilities. As the title mentions, it’s now possible to get 4 wendigo totems and two healing ravens up at once. I built it with a leaning toward pets, because bringing a good Briarthorn means bringing a good tank (and having a spare tank to soak up damage is an incredible form of support). It also means bringing an extra 15% phys res to the team. The build is not intended to deal decent damage, but just enough to get by (slowly) on it’s own. It really is designed more for team play, with the option to play solo.

This build is not perfectly optimised, it was a quick throw-together thing for testing some basics. It is likely possible to get more healing out of the build.

Healing Capabilities

Each wendigo totem heals for 13% + 1350 hp, and every time a bird heals, it heals for 11%+930. Having 0 skill recharge time on the wendigo totems also means that you can get all four of these babies up within a second or so depending on your casting speed.

That means that with all heals up, everyone in the area of effect can be healed for 74% + 7260 HP per second.

This is INSANE, and doesn’t take into account healing effects increased, or others sources of healing like regeneration (or the heal from Blood of Dreeg, Healing Rain etc).

This build has ~20,500 hp, so the healing of 74% + 7260 HP becomes 15170 + 7260 = 22,430 healing every second.

Then, your briarthorn has around 86k hp, so that can bea healed for up to 63640 + 7260 = 70,900 HP every second. At this high level HP, it’s not a full heal every second, but it’s very uncommon that you’ll find a monster dealing over 70k damage per second (unless you’re pushing in the deep, deep SR).

Aside from Wendies and Birbs, it provides these healing benefits:

  • 473 +135% Health Regen
  • 9% Lifesteal
  • 26% HP (It’s good to boost team HP when your healing heals for a % of thier hp)

Final Notes:

This build is not actually the most-bestest-amazingest support build. It brings just about the best healing that a build can possibly bring to the table (again, build isn’t perfectly optimised yet), but as a support build it sorely lacks forms of damage mitigation. Sure, it brings mild damage reduction to enemies, a good amount of physical resistance to the team and an extra tank to soak damage (thanks Thorni Boi <3 ), but it doesn’t bring any form of team damage absorption, which is absolutely critical for preventing spike damage. It doesn’t matter how much healing per second you have if you die from a single hit of spike damage before the healing can take effect.

But, despite it lacking in those specific supportive regards, it really is a very potent healer, and brings a very chill playstyle for you and your friends while galavanting through Cairn.

Enjoy~
