[1.2.0.3] doom bolt is slow

It may not be a bug.
When using the Eldritch Whispering Conduit CT0 Doom Bolt I found some strange behavior.
doom bolt cast speed slows down.

left click (far enemy) : doom bolt
left click (near enemy) : doom bolt & normal attack
right click (any) : doom bolt
shift &left click (any) : doom bolt & normal attack

I tried other skills (Dreeg’s Evil Eye) and saw no anomalies.

reported before/back when spam DB was made
what happens is you’re doing regular weapon attacks between doom bolt casts, effectively using different speed scaling doing 2 different attacks (attack speed Weap and cast speed DB) so since you’re no longer purely casting DB and actually weaving in weapon hits you then cast DB with delays instead of spam
same can happen with ex spam aegis, tho i think bit less pronounced as spam DB conduit
effect is those skills currently aren’t really “optimal” bound to LMB sadly
