[1.2.0.5 - 1.2.1.6] Bone Lance Battlemage #UnlimitedBladeworks (SR38+)

Intro

Simple build concept, I wanted to see if I could make an Archer Lancer… er a Bone Lancer do well and stuff. It went pretty alright.

Summary:
This build is strong vs swarms and mediocre vs strong single-targets regardless of which version you play. So basically pretty good at climbing Shattered Realms. Wendigo’s Mark on Warcry with 100% Vitality-to-Phys conversion may have something to do with that.

I like pianomancer builds so you’ll probably want something like Autohotkey to simultaneously trigger debuffs, stomp AOE, and fast travel (switching on same button-press) in order to play efficiently. I messed around with skill Devotion triggers, and what you see in Grimcalc works out pretty well.

Both versions play pretty similarly, with one leaning a bit more into Soldier skills and one into Arcanist skills, naturally. The (double) Devastation version is pretty neat as it takes advantage of the massive +physical damage pump + recast reduction and CDR + the freely triggered old witches’ hat. Speaking of CDR, this build makes use of 2 fast travel skills which is fun. Once you can zip around with less waiting much for recast, you don’t really want to go back.

I still have 1 triple rare to because, well, it just fits the best patching up resistance and adding more survivability. Sue me.

For sure, Gear section details a few alternatives to bring that down to 1 double-green without too much impact. The double-green Fleshwarped Casque is pretty nice for this build though.
