Hi! Two questions:

  1. why those pants? No acid damage… Because of the skill support and some phys res?
  2. two same rings, aren’t there any other lovely ring to replace the one of Widow’s Sting?

why those pants? No acid damage… Because of the skill support and some phys res?

two reasons:

  • increase physical resistance and health to fight Callagadra
  • increase physical resistance to 50% to differentiate it from other DW builds. Physical resistance is a difficult resistance to get, so it’s pretty rare to be able to increase it to 50%.

two same rings, aren’t there any other lovely ring to replace the one of Widow’s Sting?

To increase DPS, I decided to get more acid flat damage.
Widow’s Sting has acid flat damage, and converts piercing damage of Dual Blades to acid.
(Deathguard Shroud converts piercing damage to acid, too.)
This ring is craftable, you can buy blueprint at The Blood Grove

I’m sorry I did not test other rings.

nice build. i would suggest you:

  1. max out possesion (wtf?).
  2. solael pants for freeze resistance and some other stuff.
  3. bind tainted erruption to blade spirit since the dot damage will stack when caused from different blade

thank you, I’ll try!

Why u use the 2 weapons from same set? u can increase dmg by using reapers with no double rare. u can increase massive, if u farm for a double rare reaper

Try pusquill mace either, mb even for both hands

i did, its only spend bonus to normal attacks the witchhunter can get vrom other items skills … and its slow and no bonus on shadow strike

the thing i wonder, why he use 2 set weapons, without geting bonus from the set, cause 1 set weapon enought for set bonus… so he miss(without the +1 AS) many other bonuses he can get, if use other weapons

These wps skills do the most damage here its multiplied with beronath fury and it is also extra rr for curse of frality, shadows strike not that important imo. The only problem for me is physical base damage of this mace. Didnt try build, just ruminations.

i prefer this as second hand, with rare/double rare stats for acid/poisen

i will use some time to rebuild my build on the calculater
i use other amulet and medal too and i play without stupid blade spirit

witchhunter should not have phy dmg. thats why i switch to the Slicer, no phy, higer acid/poisen dmg then the set dagger…with the rest of his build, shadowstrike ready in 3-4 sec… and include massiv health steal…
but dosnt matter. why he use 2 weapons of the same set i dont understand! ok, the set dagger has good dmg, but set boni dont work as stack. so only the +1 AS is intressting. but there be weapons with better stats/skills the the useless “additional set weapon”… how i say before

1,6 sec is my cooldown on shadow strike with 220k-234k dmg … with -20% energy cost from only the slicer…

Thats true but there are much additional flat damage from skills, items, augments. Again not sure need to test

They are great for celestial power procs as i mentioned above so not putting one point to them is only mb esthetical decision.

Thats nice but between those SSs you hit with beronath fury and wps, each execution or amarasta will hit 100k+

i test some builds. beronath is nice, but make me slower killing aslong on left mouse. need to much time for max build up. hard to press a key on every 1,6sec… so easier put ss on left mause for auto attack. but then beronath cant realy rising.

but that was not the starting question. why the set weapone twice … still made no sence for me

with slizer i get a 190k sps… 2 set daggers with diffrent setups and skills never reach more then 170k sps with max lvl7 beronath.

but finaly, i still dont understand the second set weapon, there be much more weapons(myst/greens/blues) who can give other/more/better abilities. As second hand i would never use the same weapon as main hand, wastet abilities…

thats the build i run atm … resi and other item upgrades may i later include, but thats close my build

the bonus from full deathgard set spend good dmg to ss, so why dont use a second hand, with additional ss bonuses? the set dagger himself has no bonus for ss…
