[1.2.1.2] Dreeg Poison Cabalist

My first build here, so be gentle. Forgive my lack of finesse with formatting.

She was an old project of mine. The initial idea was to make a ranged poison/acid build “evil sorceress” archetype.

Even tho is a meme build, she melts totems, completed SR75-76, killed Lokkar and Bourbon clones. I’m yet to throw her at more scary foes like Calla. Didn’t try crucible as I don’t like this game mode much. But so far I’m satisfied.

These are her stats with Call of the Grave and Blood of Dreeg up. Armor is a bit low, but she has sustain enough to facetank most enemies .

Nice build and like always im happy to see new builds or new players making builds and trying to thank you.
now if you dont mind me asking i wanted to ask you why you didnt take solael’s witchfire ability ? it gives more DA and vitality dmg which is more dmg to you cuz you have about almost 100% vitality to acid conversion globaly and 100% for ur main dps ability’s.
and in vile eruption you can put more points till u hit the 7-8 fragments would be nice i think.
ima wait for more experienced cabalist players to drop their feedback in the mean time this is how i would make those classes tree.

No idea to be honest. But I’ll play with GT a bit…

I always heard it was useless to put more than one point in Vile Eruption.

imo more fragments mean more aoe

global % dmg is not converted

check his belt and chest armor.

i’m not sure what you’re saying?,
i just told you, global % dmg is not converted,
so solael’s witchfire is useless no matter how much conversion you have, the %vit bonus dmg will never be converted
you only ever convert global flat dmg
but since DEE has basically no wd/so low WD it would be debatable how effective global flat vit would be on a point by point basis (ie Second Rite)

oh i didnt know that i thought having a global conversion will benefit from ability’s like SW, but he will get some da if he puts only 4 points into sw he will get almost 60da i think its worth it imo.

Witchfire is just a regular buff/passive, that means the % dmg is treated just like any other % dmg that ends up in your char sheet page 2, just like % dmg on items/armours etc
Per GD conversion rules (sneaky devs) this will never be converted so we don’t get to “double dip” dmg
What is “converted” (technically not converted just applies differently because skill rules), is the %dmg on a regular skill modifier(not secondary effect mechanics), so if ex Terrifying Gaze had %vit instead of acid, that would be “converted”(again technically not converted but treated similarly as if it were)

whether people find the DA worth it is not for me to decide, my point was just clearing up the conversion rule re global %dmg so it doesn’t get overvalued/misunderstood

Just tweaked her a bit more. Changed a few bits of equipment and some devotions.

Hello,

Did you use a farm routine to get the mythical dreeg set? i am farming for days on ultimate diffic but just got 1 pair of set

Most legendary items are random drops. Not much to it except playing the game, either doing monster totems or doing higher-level shattered realm. (30-31st shard on ultimate is considered most efficient for farming. I have no idea how good Crucible is, I don’t like it.)

However, for farming sets there are a couple of important tricks:

1] You can transmute a set item into another item of the same set, if you have a duplicate. Do the inventor quest in Forgotten Gods to unlock this.
2] A lot of helmets and head gear can be crafted. If you have the blueprint for the Mythical Hood of Dreeg, you can just craft 5 hoods and then transmute them to get the complete set. (Be sure to keep the hood with the best stats.) This does require quite a lot of ingredients, though.
3] To get the hood blueprint, you can farm the skeleton key dungeon in Ugdenbog. (Grove) There’s a merchant there that sells a lot of blueprints. There’s a trick that if you go to the next the area and then come back a minute later, the vendor resets. This can get you a lot of set gear.

There’s also an option to transmute set items to items of a different, equal level set. I never tried this one, though.

Anyway, using the craft + transmute trick it becomes a lot easier to get full sets. Doesn’t work for all of them, but it works for this one.

thank you :grinning:
