Absolutely. And you can squeeze out more damage too if you find “Bloodletter’s” pants.
Trying to get some “good” rolls on the pants, medal and shield is an endless pain. This is the strongest build overall for all game content i have up to this point. Congrats mad_lee, strong build overall.

Thank you! Medal/pants will take some time to farm out, shield should be easy enough to get I think, I might be wrong tho.
Can I use this build without Savagery, Shadow Strike and Grasping Vines? I don’t like piano builds, and maybe these points we can redistribute to somewhere else?
You can, but it will be a different build. Will be up to you to find missing OA and slow res. Vines are just a great proccer for Huntress and also great source of crowd control. But yeah, if you can figure it out, why not, but it won’t be my build anymore 
Hey there. I’ve started playing this build in v 1.2.0.3 of the game. It’s only my second character and I’m having a bit of trouble staying alive.
Damage is quite good, but I have to stay away from large groups of mobs and certain bosses, otherwise I get taken out quite easily.
I don’t know if I put the points in the tree in the right order (i’m only level 42 so far), so maybe that’s the issue … any tips would be greatly appreciated.
This is how I’ve invested my points so far. Maybe I should have maxed out another passive or skill?

PS: Is there any wiki where I can see where a certain item drops? Didn’t notice something like this on grimtools.
recommend you don’t actually level as bleed, it’s not really great the way bleed needs to stack to kill, when you can kill things much faster with direct/instant flat dmg attacks
also wouldnt’ recommend levelling with blade spirits maxed (1pt is fine) unless you’re aware of how to reach 24pts during levelling, otherwise they lose a bit of value
just levelling as savagery weapon attacker with Nighblade wps would be totally fine, shadow strike too, or alternatively vitality phantasmal blades spammer is totally fine

Sorry but just to clarify this again. Does it mean that the 440 flat bleeding damage from Scarab Shell is proc’ed by both skills or it’s actually applied to both of them separately?
In other words, will the Scarab Shell effectively increase the damage of ONE blade spirit by 440 or 880 damage? If it would be the latter the shield would be a 2640 bleeding damage over 2 seconds increase overall if you have 3 blade spirits active and make it by far the strongest damage buff item in the game, no?

Time to update this old classic. With the advice of @banana_peel I streamlined it a bit by shedding Grasping Vines. Also changed a shield according the most lucrative and at the same time realistic affixes. (as corroborated by drop odds mathematician @modal). Find the updated grimtools in the op. Here are some videos with current build’s performance.

New link doesnt have any skills shown on action bar but maybe that doesnt matter?
I guess it snapshotted my panel of skills that is on switch that used to have all those permanent auras that are now automatically on and blade spirits and now it’s just blade spirits.
But yeah, definitely use all the skills when playing the build, don’t play it with just Savagery and Swarm and Blade Spirit re-summon!
What am I missing in the build that led you to use the ring of frost transmuter for the spirits? Am I missing cold conversion somewhere?

Im thinking about making an alt for this build to play on steam deck, would you say its controller friendly in the end?
It’s not Spirits but Ring of Steel transmuter and Lee used it because of the Freeze / CC it gives, even though you lose a tiny bit of damage this way (marginal amount because the build is a Bleed one not even Pierce / Bleed hybrid).
Global Cold conversion wouldn’t fix it anyway because conversions on transmuters have priority over them.
It’s for Ring of Steel and as @tqFan said it’s taken purely for its superior Freeze CC. Damage loss is less than negligible, it did no real direct damage to begin with.

Nope, Bleeding damage is not strong and/or diverse enough to make it to the very top.
Ok then i guess i will wait till make you the list so i can pick my build, i’ve never played grim dawn before but i’ve played a lot of poe and i know damn well that if i’m gonna spend 200 hrs into a build, it should be a good one, if this one is not good enough to be in the top 20 then i will just wait until the list is up
