(I genuinely love when builders put some kind of a concept art before their build guides. This is mine)
Today I share with you my little love project. This time I wanted to make a build which uses Mythical Chillflame Evoker as I haven’t found a single build on GT with this item.
Also, I really wanted to try a melee/caster hybrid and figured that this one can be it. This is not a very serious build, although it can facetank everything up to SR30.
GRIMTOOLS craft with stun res
The general concept is Rimetongue set with Crescent Moon.
Offense:
Yes, you guessed right, Grenado is our main source of damage. This is a problem, as it has very hectic reliability. When Ulzuin’s Chosen procs a few times in a row and those happen to crit as well the build is godlike. If not, it is a bit meh. This build is quite low on CDR unfortunately, this doesn’t help grenado either but it is especially painful for Blast shield and Deadly aim, that is why I kept those at min. value. RR is nice on this one, but %Cold damage is quite low, that is why I looked for ways to get more umph out of it. This is how Shard of Beronath came into the picture as it give us 120% cold damage boost at full charge and it procs Blizzard reliably. Seal helps out both offensively and defensively, but I will talk about it in a sec. All in all it is fun to run around, beating sh*t up and throwing grenades along the way.
Grenado damage standing in seal, beronath lvl 7, without deadly aim
Defense:
I am a SEAL HATER. In general, I don’t like skills which dictate where to stand, but as CDR is very I cannot rely on Blast Shield and Seal was the only real option to take here. It does a decent job, but you must plan with it, especially past SR30. The star of the show here is Horn of Gandarr. Without it you just die.
I tried to hoard ADCTH as much as I could to keep a decent sustain from Beronath hits while Grenado is on CD. When I looked for rings and legs, it was an important criterion, that they have some kind of proc which can heal.
Base stats, Word of Renewal and Dryad up
Results:
SR30
I have pushed this to SR36, but from SR34 it gets very bumpy.
Regarding Celestials the list is non-existent as I have killed Mog with this char earlier so I can’t even test it. This char has Flesh summoned, which cannot be tackled with this build, although I think Minds should be totally doable, as we have the damage. Calla is only doable by kiting.
As always, constructive criticism is welcome.
Happy Gaming!
