I’ve been playing this guy for a while now mostly farming, so I’ve ascended all the items and gotten some good mods that have really made this guy a beast. As well, the regen with Savagery covers the cost of Sanguinis (12% TDM) and I recently found Amplicorum which also seems to work well with my changes to the build (15% TDM).
Firstly, points were shuffled around to gain Feral Hunger % since Upheaval is now more flexible. I was successfully running Ascendant diff and 5 altar (3 ash, 2 bero) with only this change. Wolf Mog and Nerf were not possible though, Mog did too much phys dam and Nerf had more regen than I had damage. I’ve mostly been playing this way and gradually improving items which included hilariously forgetting I was using a lvl 92 fleshwarped carbine.
Recently I decided to rethink the devotions and the relic to achieve greater phys resist as this seemed to be a major hole in my defense. A few of the components were shifted to cover resists. I grabbed Aurora for 5% (honestly Aurora is almost too good with how phys dam has increased), Jackal 2%, Wraith 5%, Lion 2%, Sailor’s Guide 3% for 17% phys res. Because this changed the reqs I had I decided to go up to Tree of Life instead of sticking with Behemoth which does lower HP regen a bit but you’re still hitting 9500 which is pretty good alongside the 17% lifesteal (potion).

Max health increased, damage has increased big time especially with the excellent WPS ascendencies. Wolf Mog I just beat and I’ll see if this extra damage will translate into enough to overcome Nerf regen. ALSO these stats don’t include any buffs except Savagery (and pots at the right) so it’s not taking into account Arcane Will super buff (another 12% TDM, 10% phys res, 15% atk spd, %dmg, OA)!!
For ascendencies, I rolled a couple Wind Devil -res% so that was easy to move 2 points for -6% additional res reduction. Sometimes you can roll -1% and it’s not worth it compared to getting a WPS mod which will provide a lot more damage by converting default hits. I’m happy with most of the mods but I’ll roll the gloves more for a WPS since I don’t really need the OA.
Edit:
Regular Nerf is doable, not particularly dangerous as long as you know what to dodge like the waves (which will one shot you).
Forgotten Gods OG Build things
Howdy,
Today in meme build reveals is this HP regen fiend, leveraging Veilkeeper and the incredible buffs to regen on this set. As well, it requires the Fleshwarped Carbine MI to provide further buffs to Arcane Will.

I kinda forgot about this toon while I was looking at other build ideas but it’s probably my best Upheaval build out of several (most are unfinished) because he is incredibly tanky due to regen reaching upwards of 9700. A great build if you enjoy facetanking everything just to feel something (you have to to get Arcane Will to proc!).
Somebody mentioned the Veilkeeper Upheaval mods in a separate thread which put my eye back on him, and proceeded to beat Mog. I then had to get my rep up with Ravager’s folk so I could beat him up too, which I did (of Flesh). It was the first time beating him so I had to figure out his moveset but once I understood his main heavy hitters it was pretty easy.
I’ll see what it’s like against Calla though I haven’t put much time in figuring his deal out either but I’ll give it a try because the HP regen gives you a great social safety net to fall back on and makes things a little less punishing. Oh and you have Ereoctes as well.
Upheaval was showing numbers 260000+ (against select mobs), idk it is hard to see exactly what the upper range was but a big weakness is the lack of RR (-60 res) and Upheavals general inconsistency. An OA around 3800 definitely helps.
Arcane Will gets a hilarious +5 sec duration, 12% TDM, 6% OA, 325% HP regen, 15% atk speed, and 10% phys res, on top of the skills 500 DA and 320% dmg. And that’s what memeing is all about.
EDIT:
Calla is fairly easy, you just need to kite a lot. Sometimes you’ll be hit with some big spikes but it’s mostly pretty breezy (first try), the biggest problem I found was clicking accurately.
Crate is wild, died 3 times before I was able to successfully maneuver through the arena. Died the same amount to the oversized maggots haha. Have to choose your spots to unload on Crate as it doesn’t have a ton of HP but you can easily get stuck in some nasty situations if you get too greedy with it xD
