[1.2.1.6] Deep SR Pet Build 75 - 84

Before the version 1.3 update, I’d like to share this build.
It was actually completed back in August last year. The videos I uploaded to YouTube these past few days aren’t very high-quality, because the original source files were deleted—I had to re-download them from the website before uploading again.Due to upload limits, parts SR 83–84 haven’t finished uploading yet.
For the detailed build info, please check the build GT link first. I’ll gradually add more explanations later.

Note: this is a build designed entirely around survivability. Clearing SR 75–84 requires frequent gear swaps and a significant amount of time. This build does not create imbalance against other summoner-type Shaman builds, so I hope it will not be heavily nerfed because of this.

Holy hell ~45k grimtools HP, what in the beefy chunks is happening here?
Nice Blight Fiend spam build.

I think if I want to “just” run SR36 with this I wouldn’t need that much of a survivability and could add more damage instead?

This single build beat SR?!

Even more impressive is the pet acid damage already surpass 2000% without procs and call of the grave active, 2k% pet damage as the base can be considered high right now

Yes, with a relatively low level , you can pick Shepherd for more damage. If you’re just farming 30-31, switching to Mogdrogen Wolf will be a bit faster.

Yeah, sure. It took me about 200 to 300 hours. I couldn’t beat the Iron Maiden at level 84, so I stopped trying afterwards because it was just too time-consuming.

It’s okay—2000% is just about average for the current 1.3 version(Falling below this damage output threshold will be much slower compared to other non-summoner builds, since attack speed for summoners isn’t very high right now.), on par with most other builds.
In fact, a lot of SR 30/31 、non-summon builds only take around 3:30 minutes to clear. but summon still need around 4:30 minutes .

Holy shit this is crazy

absolutely insane amount of patience Dusk, gz

Hello Dusk, one question if I may, isn’t of bestial rage suffix a better option?

Binding for pets vitality res. Without this affix, it cant reach 80%, and the pets will get quickly oneshotted by Zantarin and Reaper.

Yeah, my original goal was 80, but I kept pushing a bit further in the end.

That makes sense, thanks!

Hi. Since you’re pushing playing the class combination i’m trying to build rn (Ritualist) what do you think about this? Ritualist, Level 100 (GD 1.2.1.6) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator
Classic Ghol Acid based build… tried high health regen like yours but was kinda slow against superbosses so i switched to Sheperd and Typhos for more damage

I don’t really enjoy playing the Ritualist’s Skeleton build. It’s quite fragile. If you’re going for a permanent BF build, pairing it with Primal Spirit is a better choice. Of course, you can still play the Skeleton build if you like, just avoid high-difficulty content.

Here’s the permanent BF build I use in version 1.2.1.6 for your reference. It uses relatively cheap blue and purple gear.

Yeah skeletons can be hard to keep alive but with maxed resists and high health regen not a single skellie died against Ravager during my tests. Only thing was the damage (kinda low, scored around 2 minutes against Ravager and around a minute against Crate) so i tried more damage. I’m actually thinking about going full Vit, Fire or Chaos Ritualist (Fire gets a lot of love from devotions) but acid damage is kinda good too
