[1.2.1.6] DRAINMASTER 9000: 4:20 Crucible Gladiator 150-170, Shard 36, Celestials, the ultimate leech tank Vitality caster Ritualist + Bonus DE builds

@RSnoomak is cooking something I think: 1, 2.

It might not be ready yet. But overall you can just take any Ritualist levelling guide and use it.

1.2.1.6 DRAINMASTER 10000 Update

Inspired by Chinese OA stacking meta that often prefers Master of Death to Harbinger of Souls on a lot of none pet Necromancers and with some inspiration from @banana_peel I decided to try this spec with a new exclusive. After all, build was not using adtch or flat from Harbinger and casting speed could be sufficient without it. I changed medal’s prefix to of Decay (a bit more common than of Attack) and glove component for a drop of additional casting speed as well changed relic to Uroboruuk Reaping for more casting speed and Health. As a result I could also drop 2x 15% Vitality resistance augments for 4% hp ones. Build became beefier while maintaining similiar damage output (but moar OA). Added Wind Devils for a bit of Impaired Aim.

Find updated grimtools in the op. Here are some videos with build’s current performance:

1.2.1.6 MoD spec Ravager 54 seconds kill

1.2.1.6 MoD spec SR 30-31 4:20 run (no short rooms)

1.2.1.6 MoD spec Callagadra 1:03 seconds kill

1.2.1.6 MoD spec SR 36 3:45 run

ā€œVitality DE Ritualist vs. Ravager of Flesh 54 seconds kill (no short rooms, MoD spec)ā€

I think the video title is wrong

thanks, fixed. Although there were no short rooms there.

Daaaaamn, usually OA stacking like that doesn’t have a major pay off, but I guess with plenty of DoT’s it can actually work. Especially when Call of the Grave is activated.

I don’t think it’s that effective against non-bosses but with a channeling skill with over 100% crit damage you can get more consistent value out of hyper oa. Dots here are pretty tame.

10052-13075 weapon attack?
I think the previous build was better and simpler.

Does Drain Essence use weapon damage? (no)

Truth nuke.

Especially naughty mobs get additional slap in the face with the pistol. It’s not deadly, but it’s humiliating.

Tried the new version. It just has better OA but lower dmg, takes longer to kill enemies. The relic is better. Don’t know what i’m missing here

Still trying to educate myself here, bear with me

Did you copy my grimtools one to one or did you just change to MoD on your spec? Post grimtools so I can help with education. New version (the way I did) is all around better, I tested it a lot.

I did tried the build again, this time i made sure i did everything right. Although the previous build has almost 3k better damage the current one, it feels more powerful and better overall, more tanky and that OA i guess makes the difference. I must’ve did something wrong the first time i tried the new build, sorry for the confusion, won’t happen again. Thanks.

No problem, glad it all worked out for you. Just for future reference your build will always be a bit different because you are unlikely to get all the same items that I chose for it, so when you are doing some significant changes to it (like changing an exclusive skill) you should take that into account (because your adjustments might be a bit different). Also if you have a question about that posting grimtools would be the best way to get help.

I had a level 100 ravenous earth Oppressor unfinished character so i decided to try also banana’s version with the MoD spec from your build and i got this monster  Oppressor, Level 100 (GD 1.2.1.6) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator
The best defense is a good offense!
The damage is similar with your build but with almost 5k(4985) OA, it melts everything, don’t even need mark of torment or ill omen. Here’s a picture with the stats:
