Pets for single-player agro and buffs for multi-player.
SR36 solo average 6 minutes remaining. Multiplayer 10+ with average players.
Perhaps my best build. I have several similar Battlemage builds, however, it somewhat depends on the builds of the other players. You will take priority of the buffs due to max in the first of the skill tree so similar classes will sill benefit from the enhancements gained from your gear.
I do not mean to create conflict. Best in game in the video title to me is not the same as it is for others. It simply means best in my personal experience with my specific play style and test conditions. I update as I find other builds, but I donât actively search. Itâs very possible I am out of date.
youâre doing the same here as with the WH btw saying it can do X solo, but then cutting before it clears chunk 1, to a MP carried clear instead. - you can just record a full solo run
-this is not a hybrid build, it doesnât mix multiple modes of attack in any way, mechanically it is a ânormal petâ build, where the pets do the combat and the player only applies buffs and debuffs.
-your titles are very unclear, âelemental sorceressâ could be a hundred different builds and the last one people would expect is a build that only uses item pets. People who only click on the video will also miss this, because it is not explained in the first minute. So when you start talking about gear details your viewers will still have no clue what they are actually looking at unless the first study the build GT. I recommend at least making clear in the title it is a pet build.
-if a build only uses item pets with two classes that are not pet classes, you may want to warn less knowledgeable players that this is very hard to level. you canât level it as is, you have to play a completely different sorcerer without pets and then convert it into a pet build later when you have the requirements for the items.
-there are plenty of builds that are only rated SR26 that got a better reception, if your build is a meme build or just for the campaign or just for multiplayer then you should explain that in the first paragraph. Instead if you name them âbestâ or âSR36â then people want to see proof and you invite these kinds of reactions
As long as you claim that you present the âbest in gameâ builds, you will have to contend with the criticism that comes along with it. And create controversy.
If you named it âMy best hybrid sorceressâ nobody would bat an eye.
âOkay, itâs not a great build, but itâs his best, so whatever.â
Lord knows, even the Top20 thread creates controversy, and at least those builds perform well.
I donât know why put yourself under that same scrutiny, instead of just trying to present some âfun buildsâ that arenât exactly competitive meta builds.
Can we talk about how this build wastes 40 points getting to and capping hellfire mines with zero benefit instead of investing them into more defenses? Thatâs 16% of the skill point total doing nothing.
EDIT: 30 points, my bad. Still weird.
considering automator normally donât take stuff like mirror, he actually took âmoreâ defence this time, my guess is since itâs a MP focused build hellfire is for party buff bonus as usual, so rather normal in his GTs if/when there is nothing left buffing pets or auras.
*speaking of GT, OP is missing char link
probably from the non-specific GD notion where some refer to hybrid pet"class" as anything that isnât using 2x traditional pet classes, contra "hybrid build"dmg where thereâs actual player dmg+pet dmg
There should be a book where the rules are written in stone, so GD terminology is fixed for all
*i know iâve seen and used both too, while being confused at the same time about being non-descript enough
Itâs a âdoesnât exist outside of MP training wheels ecosystemâ focused build. No armor absorb, 0 heal/regen, no full conversion for at least any single pet dmg type etc.
You know what? I even hit my head on a wall a couple of times and gave birth to this abomination, which can successfully (slow af, damage is nearly zero ) kill SR36 on PT.
Also good news: âtime remainingâ bs will disappear after the 1.3 ver full release. Itâs just impossible now to infinitely bumping your timer by killing only white trash crowds for â10 minutes on the clockâ after a 1h run
At least I donât delete comments in YouTube , donât spoke about experience please , you are building Two Hander builds without Kraken ( here you canât delete my comment so ) and delete any form of critique just to spread misinformation in the community. I donât need another 3 people to carry me in high SR and cut videos of solo performance
If your damage is via pets Kraken is mostly useless. The other build you are thinking about was a wip using devotions as main damage source and again, Kraken mostly useless. You could learn something by not automatically thinking everyone but you is wrong.
Test your logic. How likely is it that in so many 10âish remaining sr37 runs that I was the one being carried? What is the chance of you learning something from someone with 8K hours in game?
On my Youtube all spam will be deleted. All questions will be answered if I am able. I rarely check in on them so it might take a while. I just answered a question on my guitar channel from 4 months ago⌠oops. Itâs a set and forget thing.
This is not pet build, even if itâs some sort of Wind Devils build they scale with player bonuses so they are directly affected by Kraken . I canât learn anything from you cause I am enough mechanically acknowledged( yes I have more hours than you ) , cause you never face critique in open conversation and always try to change the subject like now . You know exactly which build I mentioned in my argument and you start talking about your pet builds that are not subject here. SR timer can be manipulated time left means nothing if you get multiple brood mothers and insect stages that spawns 30 critters so you can boost your timer with 2-3 mins by few encounters , killing sprees can add insane numbers to the timer left that doesnât mean your build is Stier , actual stopwatch matters here not something that can be easily manipulated
Yes, that was the wip. It was another attempt at using devotions as the main damage. It did okay like the many others like it I tried. I donât post a build these days unless itâs tip top.
Devotions were only intended to be very small enhancements. After so many builds you have to start thinking outside the box. The Horn of Gandarr Deceiver is very close to it, but devotions are still far from the main damage. I have versions iirc of dev skill builds of every damage type. None made my list so far.
I use to respect your stuff because I told myself "ok this player has interesting approach doing solo pet mastery builds , itâs a good niche cause such a builds missing in the community " but than you start putting labels like âBest in gameâ , using manipulated measure like SR timer to measure build performance which is misleading to us and your audience . Me and Sudoku we have a lot of disagreements but he did a good point here if you name your builds simply "My best builds " and donât cut videos of solo performance is completely different thing cause than we can see your honest opinion and perspective , cause cutting videos on the thing we expecting to see makes your build losing credibility. Believe it or not I donât attack you by any means , itâs just my opinion as a viewer
