Okay - you’re going to have to explain this ‘stash trick’ to me because I am unfamiliar…
portal to Conclave (fg), go to stash, rifle through shared/personal stash/click the solael merchant and portal back to Benevald, it removes the need for portaling around multiple times so it’s faster, Benevald is reset in 1 travel and guarantees fresh inventory
*you can do the same with steelcap since stash etc NPC is right next to portal there too

Didn’t know about that one. I portal to Sorrow’s Bastion and do an 8 count and portal back. Inventory is reset. This conclave thing sounds similar.
huh, never tried that being enough for world merchants 
- only dungeon ones. On worldmap always had to portal away multiple times or browse multiple(3) different merchants, any less and arrived back without stock reset. Then just learned stash tab to cause the same as merchant browsing while then solving it in one interaction
It’s true that resetting Benevald is pretty boring but I don’t think it’s really necessary to vendor farm the amulet extensively. Pet suffixes aren’t favored in the bias on this particular item so I think it’s better to shoot for physique & spirit rolls which are much more common. Realistically it shouldn’t take you too long to hit something useful for stat purposes.
It has a bias towards “Theurgist’s”, I believe, which is pretty awesome.
Even better if you squeeze in Soul Harvest.

It also means you can’t play Necromancer until after Homestead.
Bro, it’s 2026. We reset by porting to somewhere else and just waiting for 5-10 seconds now. I always do 10 to make sure, but porting to 3 different places or talking to 3 merchants is old tech. If I’m resetting Benevald, I port to Homestead, count 10s and then go back. 80% of the time, it works every time.

- literally first thing i did when Spray said it was try, and failed, as usual 
i also tried porting further away than staying in the "surrounding"map area, had to go to stash to make him reset

Noob here getting into this build. I have trouble understanding what I should be doing for the bloodsworn codex to “farm it”. I’m level 27, have started to get into the bandits questline, and have cleared through the culists layer a few times and havent found it yet. When I search the databases it says it’s a level 90+ item. I just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing before continuing to farm (a slow process, going to main menu and back into the game, walking to lair, re-killing everything in lair).

Welcome to the forums!
It does drop at lower levels, but unfortunately, it’s actually a pretty low drop chance from those mobs.
We’re talking like, 2% chance or lower for regular mobs, and 5-15% for the higher rarity mobs.
The highest drop chance is from… Zaria the Carver, but she’s way over in Darkvale Village.
So you have a couple of options:
- Do a few more runs through Cultist’s Lair (and actually, could clear the Depraved Sanctuary a bit to the north of the lair). It should have a bunch of chthonic humans as well. Might get lucky with a drop.
- Or just keep going through the game, leveling up. It’s not usually super critical to farm a very specific gear piece as you’re leveling up, unless it’s a damage type conversion item your build relies on, or for example, them Gollus’ rings for health regen for retaliation characters (especially if playing HC)

What @Yarik85 said. If it’s taking too long, just continue on with the game and equip whatever good off-hands you find. You can always come back a bit later when your pets are stronger and they’ll breeze through the area.
As for the database, type in the item directly and it will populate with all the level breakpoints.

Noob checking in. I’m playing my first character as a ritualist, and found this guide at around lvl 50 and have been doing my best to adapt to it. So I’m following the minimalist devotion path, and just got to widow. I’m pretty confused, as widow doesn’t seem to offer anything for the build. I must be missing something!

AI suggested to bind it to a pet summons, stating with high confidence that the pet attacks would proc it, so I was thinking briarthorn. For some reason, when I went to bind, the game doesn’t seem to even offer pet summons skills as a choice at all. The only free ability it offered was grasping vines.
Does this sound right?

If you’re building the minimalist version, then you’ll bind the aether bomb to Devouring Swarm. The other skills are only used if you want to do the standard build since there are more active procs to bind.
You can’t bind pets to Widow. I don’t remember if there was ever a good reason as to why that is the case.
Also, I don’t recommend using any AI tools for anything Grim Dawn related. It will often give you incomplete or flat out wrong information.
Hey just FYI, I was following the list in minimalist you have up in the devotion section of the tree above, then got to Tree of Life and had no points. You have fiend in that list but I don’t think it’s supposed to be there? I see it’s not there on the Grim Tools link and that makes the rest work.
