Cabalist has good synergy for both pet builds and vitality casters.
Now, let me show you an aether Cabalist.
This is my first time posting a build, so sorry if it’s a bit hard to follow!
Note: Freeze Resist is only 15%, so I recommend using Hoarfrost Ointment when fighting Moosilauke.
Skills and Gears
The main skills are Doom Bolt, Reap Spirit, and Sigil of Consumption.
Gameplay is somewhat piano-style.
And then, Fleshwarped Tome is a key item. It provides a Transmuter for SoC and offers 50% vitality-to-aether global conversion, which supports Doom Bolt and Reap Spirit. I use a double rare version—please forgive that. You can farm it easily by purchasing from Malmouth Steelcap. Ring of Tawrot is the final piece for full conversion, but if you don’t have it, Mythical Band of the Eternal Haunt also works well.
Devotion
In many aether builds, taking Spear of the Heavens and Korvaak is considered meta.
However, this build prioritizes survivability, so I chose Rattosh instead.
I’m also using three Tier 2 defensive constellations, and taking full advantage of the 25% cooldown reduction provided by the Clairvoyant set and offhand.
Impressive build! I like the visuals as well! But we all know this is going to get crushed next update since this is a well performing caster build. And as we all know a certain someone does not like those
Very nice results for the old Aether Cabalist piano.
I have few questions: did you try Harbinger exclusive with a “classical” devotion map? Feels like you can muster a lot of wd sources here for that extra sustain. Also I wonder if taking Chains of Ygraad and dropping Tawrot for Haunt is just straight up better. But then if you want a defensive relic I would choose Eternity over Impurity here. It also offers more raw damage.
