Hello this is my first ever build post and don’t consider this build completed yet. This is a modified version of Arcadelife’s golden apostate build, my goal is to tune this build as much as possible I love the vitality aura concept like a plague doctor. but quite frankly this strategy, to the best of my knowledge is not the greatest. Lots of conversions and confusing damage boosting. Ive got the slightest grasp of how each part works, but this has pieces of other aura apostate builds. I can say this can beat everything in main campaign ultimate mode and does very good damage. good sustainability, and is overall a awesome build. this build is tested on crucible and can do 170 naked with good piloting and easily with buffs. SR would be the same I would assume but grinding to SR 75 is not my cup of tea hopefully some day. that being said I ask for help people much better at making builds is there any way this build could be made better. also some of the gear for this build are GDstashed for the sake of min max. this build will still be very capable without perfect gear, just shoot for vital boosts and the Natures bounty suffix on the leg guards or the survivalist will be not nearly as good. please any advice would much appreciated.
Sorry i don’t really keep up with SR levels played this game a couple years ago and just came back funnily enough i just realized Radaggan’s set was switched to a acid conversion ripp.
You can be away for a couple of months and poof all your chars does not work anymore. Pretty strange for a single player game. Devs try too hard to keep everything “perfect” and “balanced” imo. Let there be some broken builds, it is fun
also funny but this build is so weird I only noticed this after all the tuneups and was sad for a sec about all the more dmg i could be doing. But turns out I don’t need the elemental to vital conversion, yes it helps but 99% dmg comes from strait 100% vital converted skills less versatility but i still got around 200k-300k damage per sec on dummy with attack and all skills build still works fine but with like 40%~ element to acid. so the buff to aura of censure are free and radaggan set is the only set that truly buffs aura of censure. So nothing to switch to.
Have you compared the build with the 2 guns variant, even 2 Morguuls? If not, I’d do it
This means more shots, Cold damage fully converted and more attack speed.
And I’d also put some points into Storm Spread to have 100% WPS chance
This build is not melting anything, much less Crucible Gladiator with no buffs. This just doesn’t have any damage and skill distribution is done with some crude mistakes (no points in Vigor and Steel Resolve while having Deadly Aim at 15 for example). If you want to make something good out of Radaggan Apostate you should try doing something closer to this:
Isn’t your attack speed too low for a build using WPS? And why not to take Bursting rounds and storm spread too, because your WPS proc chance are at <100% and you convert the damage already? With a quick optimization on the WPS, you have better proc chance and spare skill points
Thank you for the advice the skill tree is very mismanaged, this is my first build. I will soon record a Crucible Gladiator naked. its rough on survivability. but I do agree vigor and steel resolve need points. Love your builds especially the what we do in the shadows ritualist. thank you.
