I didn’t see a single build for Wereraven using its core abilities of Ice Talons and Cold Snap, so here goes my first build post…
I chose Arcanist as my secondary class because I intended to go all in on frost/frostburn, but I have had trouble collecting the right gear so went with chaos instead when the opportunity presented itself. Probably another secondary class is better for this build, but I’m not going to level another raven to 100 at the moment just to check!

OA: 3507
DA: 3604

Armor: 2715

Resistances: all 80 w/ 30%+ overcap
Phys Res: 17%
Fighting chaos with chaos! As you’ll know if you’ve met him on Ascendant mode, Chieftain Gruldir and his hounds put your HP under huge sustained pressure and hits harder than most SR30+ bosses.
Gameplay: keep Rallying Cry up at all times. Enter combat with Void Strike (Relic) → Bonechilling Cry → Cold Snap → Ice Talons spam forever, easy peasy 
If facetanking bosses use Void Strike on cooldown for 17% enemy damage reduction.
Pros:
- You get to be a raven!
- Decent DPS.
- Great healing and life-leech.
- Good chaos resistance reduction.
- 30%+ overcapped resistances.
Cons:
- Can’t facetank through rends and 1-shots.
- No fire-and-forget damage.
- Definitely not meta.
Gear options:
- Most of my affixes/suffixes are based on whatever will provide me with the most chaos damage while balancing out my resistances so I could over-cap to 30%.
- Throw in a little OA where you can, but Battle Surge really helps out with this in the fights that count.
- ‘of Corrupted Peaks’ is great, pick it up wherever you can to max out Bonechilling Cry for RR.
- I have a couple of random ascended affixes in my build, that’s just because of my lack of resources in game to reroll - the build works perfectly fine with no ascended affixes.
If you have any suggestions I’d be glad to hear them so I can make Ravinca as strong as possible!
