So, I was just browsing through that thread. Holy crap, what a mess.
I know exactly why I don’t post on that forum.

Could you please elaborate what are talking about here?
Any links?
no, i dont link this ugly thread here in the forum. you can read this thread on steam. same name.
I don’t even know where threads are on steam.
I only know reviews.
Good for you. You really don’t want to go there. ![]()
Well I did my homework and was able to find it.
The first page of replies is just people being happy for the upcoming update.
The 6th page is Zantai trying to reason with some angry kid.
Didn’t read anything else.
We had very similar thing here recently with Chinese OP Pet Builds (not really) drama.
Looks like another Tuesday on the internet.
I’m actually surprised this very thread got posted here.
What for?
the most ugly posts were deleted now by z.
Steam is incredibly toxic. Any gaming open discussion group these days is. I didn’t last one week there after my last return to the game. I couldn’t bare the sight of it anymore.
FYI, Z probably didn’t delete many posts. Valve has moderators of their own and algorithms that scour these discussion groups. The automated algos only flag posts, as do other users, and the Valve’s moderation staff deletes/bans. Devs can opt out of this system and manage the forums themselves entirely. But from one interaction I remember Z having over there, precisely on the week I was posting, he responded to someone at the time that he actually deletes few posts and it’s mostly the Valve moderation team that does it.
Welcome to large forums. Regardless of which game or subject there is always a handful of people who fundamentally dislike it and rather than move on they make it their life goal to let everyone know they dislike it. Y’all should read car forums. The loudest people there act like car manufacturers shot their dog when in reality a car they were never going to buy in the first place gained 5% more weight.
I don’t think it warrants a post about it here.
