So, looked at this set and ended up sketching out it using 2 parts of the Awakened Eastern Oath. Didn’t like the results and redid it the following day, threw it together and went through the usual SR30-31 testing and went “it’s okay”.
But today, I finally got around to trying it out against all the Celestials and went “Fuck Me, it Works!” because, aside from Crate, who art cheesy, this burns through Celestials with pure cold :3 And it’s even what @Zantai said the set was meant to be about, namely Shadow Strike + Trozan’s Sky Shard.
So here’s Teh Build:
Note - only health focused Affixes are really needed, also Awakening the Swamp Grips gives you more health and OA/DA and this build lacks it due to GD Stashing them
Otherwise just chip away at the affixes as you can. Because the core is all there otherwise.

Gear and Options
You definitely need the full Zakull set, but until you can get the Celestial Horn of Beronath, you can sub in the Spectral Bludgeon which does most of the same thing for TSS. As for the MI rolls, no double rares needed, though likely you’re going to reroll the relevant affixes because the magic ones are harder to reroll without them flipping into rare ones. And “of Vitality” and “Impervious” are definitely needed.
Fortunately thanks to FoA assembling the gear, never mind the right rolls is a lot more straightforward once you know how to farm Awakened Ashes via Voidmarked Chests etc.
.
Gameplay Basics
For the vast majority of fights you can facetank, but against bosses and some nemesi you’ll want to kite, and use Blade Barrier and Mirror to save your rare or in the case of Mirror, use it offensively to buy time to unload you 3 SS charges.
Anyhow, flow is SS in, cast Chillspikes to proc multiple Whirlpools and drop TSS and keep repeating as need be, while kiting or using Circuit Breakers, while focusing on the highest threat(s) or bloody healers.
In SR though you will need to be on your toes and know when to gtfo and let Frostburn winnow the mobs and nemesi/bosses. i.e. Raddoth is a royal pain if he’s able to Sunder and leap on you, so don’t let him. While Nyarlathon should be facetanked with mirror and killed before he spreads sunder crap everywhere. And in boss rooms both should be fought 1 vs 1, ideally.
.
Levelling
Depends ultimately on what style you like, since Spellbreaker can do many, but otherwise standard ABB + TSS used by other cold focused builds can do the job, especially as there’s older Cold TSS Trozan Spellbreakers available to crib from. Or you can go Deathmarked Melee+SS as well. Likewise, now Ring of Steel is stronk, you could use the Cold transmuter on it as your nuke.
And as per usual, if you have Lokarr’s set, levelling any build up becomes a breeze in Veteran or even Elite :3
.
Right, video time, all Ultimate, sans Beronath and The Dread:
SR30-31, 1 Short Room, 4:40 minutes
Ravager of Flesh - 48 seconds
Callagadra - 58 seconds
Lokarr 16 seconds
Bourbon Clones ~1:50 minutes
Crate of Entertainment - 30 seconds
N'erfatal - 1:58 minutes
Ascendant Beronath - 1.06 minutes

Modrogen FoA - to come, hopefully today, but I have other builds to set up.
Mogdrogen - GD, done but didn’t record it, twas a cakewalk.
Crucible - Eeeeh, do I have to?
Right, that should be everything. Also, all blame goes to @Zantai, please don’t nerf it’s TSS powah ![]()
Also, holy shit, I actually managed to make a almost normal build post instead of just a showcase. Which given how bad my ADHD is thatmy executive functioning hit me hard so this is a miracle. Will I update my old ones and post new ones though? Don’t bet on it lawl.
