[1.1.9.1] Rah'Zin Warlock - SR80, Mogdrogen, Ravager

Spark of Reality got buffed pretty hard in the latest patch and I wanted to try a DW Warlock using this item. The only warlock build I could find using the Rah’Zin set was from @eardianm. Here’s my shot at the same concept.

Didn’t bother to try Crucible, aoe is bad anyway.

Gear
Everything is BiS (I think). Relic is debatable, but I went for Eldritch Pact over Agrivix’s Malice mostly for flat chaos and hp. Crafted helm for stun resistance.

Devotions
Due to the new modifiers to Mirror of Ereoctes on Spark of Reality, I went with Hourglass instead of Abomination, was able to fit Ghoul and still had 3 leftover points for Wendigo. Result is lower dps than @eardianm’s version, but also much sturdier.

Conclusion
High single target dps (it’s Rah’Zin after all), lowish armor/hp/DA are (almost) fixed by the classic Hourglass+Mirror combo. Lack of aoe damage makes Shattered Realm kinda hard but, apart from that, I’d say this is a decent build, for a melee Warlock.

I pulled out that older version for a couple runs in the past week actually, even doing physique and not lol spirit dump with 2300 DA it’s a bit glassy in shards. This is probably a much more sane approach

Have you tried double spark for double buff time to mirror ? Seems like big buff if you can take acth from other sources. I know fang still giving a rr but maybe there is a chance to form semi tank version with double spark and aeon.

Veery nice build by the way and I find the balance between the offence and defence just to be right.
Made me think to do hardcore melee chaos warlock from the beginning very tempting.

I don’t think it would be worth it, there will still be a significant downtime to mirror even after adding 1.2s duration. Losing the rr would certainly result in a dps loss and the adcth would be really hard to compensate.

Might be worth trying double spark on some cheesy chaos spellbinder but I don’t even know where to begin theorycrafting that one
