I am curious what the communities opinion on the best 2hd Primal Strike Lightning build is and why?
I have a lvl 85 Elementalist, 73 Warder and i am leveling a Druid atm. With nary a Ultos piece found so far, but the builds are still fun for the most part.
I really like the screen filled with lightning that Primal Strike and other skills bring so i am curious what class version others like.

Elementalist because it does the most damage due to resist reduction from mines and has the highest oa. Demo offers a lot of really nice defensive tools too in the form of flashbang, blast shield, and high potency bwc. Druid can’t outdamage elementalist and ele has more than enough survivability so going warder for a ton of hp, armor,etc is fairly pointless
Conjurer is a nice option if you are ranged, because curse suits a ranged build much better than thermite mines
I understand why ppl suggest Elementalist, but I just can’t get on with it. No idea why, because my most played chars are demo based, and I also have an SJ Elementalist that I’m really enjoying levelling.
But for some reason I much prefer either Warder or Druid for Primal Strike, and Warder for Savagery. Just personal preference / playstyle I guess.
They might not be optimal, but with Ultos set (good luck in your search :)) they do fine against most things in the game.
Yeah i agree with OP those lightning builds are really fun, and are for sure my fav even if its kinda hold LMB i just love them.
from my experience demo is for sure the most optimal class for so many reasons, but at same time occultist with CoF is deadly to proc upheaval and gives so much satisfaction imo, while warder is the less fun to play; personal tastes talking here.
also i feel like savagery is way much better for overall performance, mostly for way better single target dps, while flashbang/CoF and procs will cover aoe (thats where druid and warder are less good to me).
Primal Strike is imo, a greatskill to level with, until you reach level75,
but its aoe is just <3
