2H Cadence Blademaster. Which set do I aim for?

Was thinking that I should get incomplete Warborn, but I didn’t know the Warborn skill would not activate if the set is broken lol.

Is Warborn still the best choice?
Are there individual non-set Legendaries that would do great?

Warborn was never the best choice for a cadence BM. You need to mix and match. Valdun + Good rolled MIs are BiS

I forgot to mention that it’s melee. >_<

Yeah even for melee you need a hybrid setup and Valdun can be used in melee.

Example of DW BM using Valdun’s chest

you won’t find a set perfectly tailored for your build so you can go Warborn anyway, or Valdun like Chthon says, or don’t use a set at all (you may not be as god like as yuo would but you can have fun and complete the game anyway)

This is the point of any of my builds. Farming nemesis and end-game is a bonus to me when making experimental builds (some of them found their way to these forums)

Sorry, I’m mainly asking because my OCD kinda goes off when I see items that are not a set. >_<

If you are looking for melee 2h Blaemaster then below is what i can recommend. It’s 3pc Warborn + Crafted Imperial Claymore. Pretty big damage potential. There is no legendary 2h sword for soldiers unfortunately si i crafted it.

Wouldn’t you do better with Nightshade’s reach (+2 Nightblade) with Valdun’s Chest’s flat damage bonus?

Not at all. I tried. Nightshade has low base damage and the acid conversion kills it in spite of it’s higher pierce ratio. The bonuses on the crafted claymore can’t even compare save for the +2 Nightblade

Hmm, impressive. I completely forgot Nightshade’s reach has acid conversion (even though i have a build around it). Yeah you’re right then.

My BM is actually a Soldier in disguise.

I only have Blade Barrier, Pneuma+Shadow Dance, Anatomy, and Veil from the Nightblade Mastery.
Spent the rest of my points in Soldier abilities.

Uses Leviathan with Rhowan’s Scepter Devotion so no Swords/Pierce. >_<

Leviathan is a warder friendly weapon. If you want pierce then go for what Fluff said. But since you’re using Leviathan i’m guessing you’re planning full Physical

cant it crit at 180K or 200K like that:p Nothing wrong with a soldier wielding a giant bad ass 2h sword:cool: That’s how i see Oleron as a theme in general. He’s the pre-nightblade bad ass

The only name that comes up in my mind when i hear Soldier is The Iron Maiden and that bitch is a nightmare. She’s harder than Rashalga, atleast Rashalga gives me some breathing space.

You know what’s funny I think it’s her that inspired my commando build in the first place:) So now two can play that game:cool:

Anyways, how do you make your character tough(er)?
My dude can never handle huge mobs in Gladiator.
Anything lingering in the ground kills me.

I’ve seen crits like that in my character rn.
