TL;DR-Play some Warlord or Warder for high SR pushing… :upside_down_face:

Here’s roughly how I would try to play this; big changes include:

Grabbed Moosi Pauldrons for more Seal pts, formidable isn’t needed here but it definitely drops; use affixes to cover resistances and maybe grab some OA/slow res.

Picked up proper fire rings, Combust band is BiS and other one converts some pierce to fire plus OA and proc, it’s good. Can keep gollus ring if desired altho it’s not doing much here. Not a huge fan of boots (despite deceptively good stats; build needs more phys res) but I kept em cause stun res. Could also farm a nice Kaisan ammy maybe; but I tried to keep core gear(ish).

Which leads me to another change, you didn’t have enough regen to matter. Solael pants give good stats and important ADCTH. Skill points dropped out of ulzuin’s flame as again, you don’t need the regen half as bad as (nearly) capped WPS, Steel Resolve, Brimstone etc…

And tweaked devotions. Build wasn’t doing “dual damage” anyway, weapon is fire based item; so I fixed it up for a more fire-oriented approach. Which may or may not be what you like, idk. You now have 4 circuit breakers; Diamond, Serenity, Blast Shield, and Ghoul. Got Magi and torch plus ghoul for a failsafe. Can definitely grab Phoenix cause it’s got absorb for higher SR if you like. Also messed around with components and augments; if you can get slow res on pants or shoulders you can drop the two pts in Chariot elsewhere, some %health or OA idk. Also resists are a bit tight; look for bleed and poison sumwhere. No wonder your build wasn’t doing any damage with that weird split damage type deal; and anything can kill you if you can’t kill shit quick enough.

Edit: for added tank can play 3pc Justicar set. Some fodd(er) for thought.

I found moos pauldrons, consecrated maiven’s wit, in my bag (i think I sold my solalel legs due to bag space I’ll farm). I’ll try this out to see how the increased seal works and I moved devotions around to get to meteor (now levelled to 4). I have 4 light’s oath i got from the legendary gambling house (was trying for the open hand of mercy to complete my set). Let me try out these changes out.
Also, I just watch a 50 min video on conversions. It makes some sense but I need to figure out what are global, transmutters, etc. I was under the impression I could get more dps from the % bonus on the base stat plus the bonus after the conversion.

Brimstone (demolitionist skill at the far end of the mastery bar, LVL 50) adds significant damage to fire strike. Especially with passthru. It’s definitely worth shuffling some skill points around and taking it. (And maxxing Flame touched).

And you’ve got the skill points. Deadly Aim, take all points out of it except one. Valor maxxed but Steel resolve not? :disappointed:(It’s ok to cap both btw and you should have sufficient pts). Vindictive Flame and Ulzuins Chosen do not need to have that heavy investment in them. Drop Vindictive Flame to 16/16 and one point the other one. One point arcane empowerment (Inquis Seal node). Word of Renewal can go to 12/12, harcapped seems excessive. Boost Demo mastery up to Brimstone, max it, and max thermite mine as well. It’s more damage. Blast Shield is good at 8/12 but 12/12 is fine I guess. I’m just not a fan of such heavy investment into part time defensive price when full time offensive and defensive buffs/skills aren’t maxxed.

I think you meant ulzuin’s wrath when you said ulzuin’s chosen, but I don’t think I agree on that one, %reduced target damage is very good in deep Sr because of how the math works at that stage and afaik bosses have no resistance to it.

Oh it definitely is but Ulzuins wrath doesn’t apply DR consistently afaik? Could be wrong of course but I don’t remember it being considered ‘reliable’ dr.
