I’m building my second character. My first one is a Dual wielding blade master at level 60. While i was building this I suddenly wanted to build a two handed lightning damage character so here i am building a trickster.
At the moment I’m only level 27 in veteran with no problems what so ever. the damage output ain’t that good when we’re a party of 3, but that’s fine as the others should be dealing som damage also (even though they’re not at this point).
So main focuses on this build will be Physical damage, lightning damage, bleeding damage and probably a little lifesteal/Damage converted to health.
What I’m really unsure about at this point is the attribute points. Until now I’ve only put points in Physique. I know I will have to start putting points in Cunning, but I have no idea on how much?. And I suppose I wont be needing Spirit at all? I see this as the most crucial part in this build as this can’t be reverted.
Shaman is my main class and Nighblade is secondary.
Shaman
Brute Force, Feral Hunger, Upheaval
Primal Strike, Torrent, Storn surge
Stormcallers Pact
Mogrogens’s Pact, Heart of the wild.
Nightblade
Pneumatic Burst, Elemental Awekening
Shadow Strike (Only cos i love it from my blade master, mostly picking this for moveability).
Blade trap (Maybe if i have points over)
Devotions
My first goal is to get Tempest and Kraken. After that I haven’t really decided what to take. Maybe some resistance…?
not sure if u plan to or not but feral hunger and upheavel can not proc of primal strike so they wont work if you take the transmute and use it as leftclick
I have not planned to use Thunderous strike. At the moment I have normal attack on LMB and Primal Strike on RMB. So I make normal attacks with LMB and when Primal is recharged i hit RMB (if needed).
Don’t know if this is good? Should I have Primal on LMB? And will it take advantage of Feral Hunger and Upheavel if I don’t take Thunderous Strike?
I wasn’t really sure how these transmuters function until you named it and I searched on google.
personally I’m building primal strike on druid (arcanist)
but in your case you could get primal strike with transmute left click and shadow strike right click
for feral hunger and upheavel it states they only work of default weapon attacks (replacement attacks like firestrike, savagery should work though)
primal strike is not a default weapon attack though
using normal attack doesn’t seem usefull with nothing to proc with it, probably better of incorporating savegry in some way then
Normal attacks can proc those but you can’t assign devotions to normal attacks
Most characters I often don’t use attributes much early on, and only add if needed for really good gear that would take too long with masteries
So basicly cunning and spirit for equipment rest physique, especially as melee you ll need the physique
The damage output is good and my defence/resistance is decent. Allthough I had big problems with last boss in Epic.
My bleeding damage is not where I wanted it to be as i lack items with flat damage. I’ll see what to do with that…
But Lightning and physical damage is my main anyway.
I don’t remember all the devotions I’ve chosen from the top of my head. So I’m missing some Points in the grimcalc. I’ve activated all shrines in Veteran and Epic though and a couple in Ultimate.
So since my first hc Trickster died with focus on savagery I made a primal strike Trickster instead. I must say that it’s surprisingly good if you ignore the huge energy problem at the beginning (if I would have leveled differently,it would maybe not have been a problem). Atm I’m level 63 in epic with 10k health and 10k dps with self found items. My dilemma now is what to do next. There’s no actual skill that I really want. So I’m thinking that I should max out the NB mastery. My current skills in below grimcalc.
