A Conduit for phys CT would be very cool

Changes to Fleshwarped Core opened up some interesting possibilities. The removal of base phys conversion teases you to try it with phys, since it can roll of Abomination suffix. There’s also a phys helmet for Arcanist but it can only be used in a handful of builds.

But X to phys conversion is quite rare and you won’t be able to convert the entire skill to phys with this mace. On the other hand we have a lot of underused Arcanist conduits that are very hard to build for, like phys/aether OFF, chaos TSS, acid Deva. How about a conduit for phys CT? Sounds exciting, IMO. And we have very few phys casters, won’t hurt to add one to the roster.

On a separate but related note. We still have a shortage of items giving +X to CT / Inferno. I would really like to see some +3 on a general purpose item. For instance, we have +3 AAR on two MI shoulders but none for CT.

Another note of that kind. The weapon is superheavy with aether bias. You can now use it for fire, cold, lightning and even chaos CT, but good luck getting the item with semi-usable affixes for those dmg types. Can the tables ease up a little on aether bias?

Phys CT mods on a Conduit or a weapon would be a dream come true. Much more interesting and potent than Acid Devastation or TSS.

honestly is anyone actually using the -phys/aether res flash freeze conduit? even just for a meme build? (with phys ray?) if it was up to me use that slot for phys tempest.

because even for phys flash freeze i didn’t use it and that one kinda sucks because all stats you want are in the base skill node and absolute zero is rather bad (and it’s phys…).

I remember using it for a meme phys bone lance battlemage, but that was absolute meme so I wouldn’t mind it being gone too much.

Imo swap the conduit from phys/aether OFF to phys CT, but keep the aether bias on the weapon.

I wasn’t suggesting to remove bias, but decrease it a little. It’s way too hard to roll affixes for other dmg types on it, when it has such a lucrative general purpose mod now.

I think bias should be consistent for all items and FoA will probably give ways to influence bias anyway as we know from misadventures.

It’s sort of impossible, because it only applies as long as you freeze the target. So it will work on trash where it’s irrelevant, but not on bosses and such where you actually need it.
