1.Does the tooltip describe 1 of the projectiles or both?
Answer(by Ptirodaktill): The tooltip describes 1 projectile.
- Does proccing multiple Flame Torrents(NOT with mines, stuff like FoI for example) spawn new projectiles on top of the current ones, refresh the existing ones or replace the current active ones?
Answer(by Superfluff): Proccing multiple times from the same source spawns new torrents/projectiles.
3.If new projectiles are spawned with each proc, does that mean more than 2 Flame Torrent projectiles can hit the same target?
Answer: Yes, inferred from the previous answer.
4.Is there an actual internal cooldown to the skill?
Answer: 0.5 seconds cd, according to the wiki.
5.Does the burn tooltip from each projectile stack on top of itself or does it refresh to the highest Flame Torrent burn tick?
Answer: Basic burn rules take effect, only the highest dot will apply and tick.
Thank you in advance.
They stack…to a certain point
A torrent lasts a couple of seconds or so and has a small internal cooldown. If you proc them fast enough you can sustain as much as 3x torrents. Can do it with spells like AAR or Ignafffar, pets, DW mele or ranged and others i can’t think of now.
Burn/Dot from same source don’t stack only highest number applies, like a good crit
Yes, whenever it procs, new projectiles will be spawned, and old ones will NOT dissapear with new proc (they dissapear after a cartain time).
Same for Eye of Guardian and Anvil procs.
Alright, that makes things more clear. I edited your answers in my post in case people want to google for them in the future.
just 1 more thing, It’s 1 projectile not in the literal sense. They are really 2 projectiles swirling around on opposite directions for ~ sec. That is wht the devo is so strong
Yeah no kidding, with 15% life leech my sustain went through the fucking roof and my torrent is only lvl 9 atm while I’m 89
