I’ll be short.
PLEASE, do not change Howl of The Wendigo in the next patches or expansion(s)! I’ve recently made up a pretty decent build, using the Blade Arc converiosn on this item and it’s my very first tune able to get 150 Gladiator Crucible and and kill Lokarr.
I’m really proud of it and I would be endlessly grateful, if you leave this item as it is.

Considering the Vitality Blade Arc modifier on the Conduit got axed recently, Howl of the Wendigo has a unique conversion now so I see no reason to remove it so I wouldn’t worry if I were you.
Yeah, but the Conduit modifier got axed due to not being used (as I understand), so I got worried about this item, that seemed to have even less chances of being used for something worth looking at
It was not being used because taking in account other amulets, that conduit modifier was shit. Also, you could just take this mace instead, and even though, people seem to not like Vitality Blade Arc or vitality Soldiers anyway.
This might be the reason for the build creation

Vitality Blade Arc? Maybe. Vitality Soldier in general though has been fairly popular for awhile now due to Blood Knight being a well-designed set and fun to play.
Even physical/bleeding blade arc not common nowadays, I think it should have buff, like hitting all targets in a cone, rather than being a shorty candy.:eek:
So your build is probably this weapon + Myth. Grasp of Unchained Might + Blood Knight set, right? Although, if it doesn’t have Meat Shield in it, I am gonna have to ask devs to axe your axe in the next patch!

No Meat Shield no Howl of Wendigo. I think deleting it is just too simple. Make a Meat Shield a requirment for Howl of Wendigo, a Christmas gift Bloodysaint deserves.
Time to get a Belgo Blademaster or a CDR Spellbinder
