A question about conversion

So, i’ve searched around and found nothing. I have a doubt about conversion. Does conversion stack? Like, i have an item that converts 15% of my physical damage to aether, another one that does the same and a third that does it too. Does it mean 45% of my physical damage is being converted to Aether?

This seem like a dumb question but i just want to be sure before i start a new character.

Yes.

Note that conversion due to a skill modifier, e.g. the skill that changes Storm Totem from lightning to vitality, only applies to that skill.

Also note that you can map a skill to LMB or RMB and then mouse over the damage stats on tab 2 to get a detailed breakout of the damage types.

Awesome, thanks. Didn’t knew about that last one though.

But if i use clairvoyant, for example, to converse chaos into aether, firestrike with brimstone will deal aether or chaos?

Both since clairvoyant doesn’t have 100% conversion. But if you add Albrecht’s duality ring or use 2x Duality you get 100% conversion. So brimstone will have fire/aether. Same for Thermite mines and their chaos component…Doombolt in occultist etc.

So conversion does work with quasi-pets? I was never 100% clear on that.

Why shouldn’t it? Since their damage scales with player bonuses, so in exactly the same way that normal skills do.

Ofc I know that u need more items to convert 100%. My question was if the skill’s modifier gets converted. Ty for the reply, I have a build in mind :stuck_out_tongue:

Good luck on your aetherfire Firestrike build :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks mate :stuck_out_tongue:

^ooh aetherfire gunslinger? Like the idea been trying to make one but felt underwhelming… Looking forward to your ideas
