Splish Splash Splosh from the Discord brought to my attention that:
is a bait item.
- There is no other support for chaos damage RoK in the game.
- The Vitality converted to Chaos is really unhelpful because Inquisitor has 0 vit skills, so is it just for Occultist? Elemental to Chaos would open up a lot more here, as then we could utilize WoP as well.
Please change the conversion at minimum, and add more support for Chaos RoK, or rework this skill modifier entirely. Thank you for your consideration.

The item becomes even more strange now that berserker, an alternative chaos supporting mastery is in the picture. Runekeeper has 0 vitality damage sources, so the conversion might aswell not exist. I don’t know what this item should become, but looking at the other MI one would typically use with RoK, the Obsidian Bulwark (which gives flat rr to RoK and +1 projectile) the skill mods are rather underwhelming.
I wouldn’t call the vitality damage conversion unhelpful, it opens up conversion for both Sigil of Consumption and Doom Bolt which already have other item support for Chaos damage, having the global conversion means you can use both and make some nicer item choices like Fang of Ch’thon in the main hand and Covenant of the Three helm. Global elemental conversion would be a much weirder choice because there’d be much less item support overall for those skills so whatever build you make would be even further into meme territory.
I agree though that the item could be given another skill mod, maybe to Berserker, since it is a bit underwhelming only having the one RoK mod.

as cloudbust says, vit conversion is one of the few ways to get global vit conversion without dualwielding bloodsworn sceptres during levelling etc
The RoK is just strangely underwhelming by itself, but suppose that’s mostly because shield is just that much more stonks in general for different RoK types
